There is an intelligence moving through your body right now that does not need to be forced, fixed, or controlled 🌿
Your heart is beating ❤️
Your lungs are breathing 🌬️
Your cells are regenerating ✨
Your nervous system is continuously communicating, adapting, responding 🌀
All without your conscious effort.
In many traditional healing systems, this same intelligence is understood as part of life itself — an organizing force moving through nature, through the body, and through all living beings 🍃
It’s my belief that plant medicines often amplify our access to this intelligence. Not by giving us something outside of ourselves, but by helping us remember what is already here.
But this intelligence is not accessed through thinking alone.
It becomes available through presence 🌙
Through slowing down enough to actually listen 🤍
And this is why somatic work matters so deeply in psychedelic spaces.
Because healing is not only cognitive.
It is physiological. Sensory. Relational. Embodied 🌊
The body is not separate from the healing.
The body is the pathway.

🌿 And many psychedelic wayfarers begin to notice something important after ceremonies:
“I understand myself more deeply now…
but I still cannot fully stay with my emotions.”
“I know what happened to me…
but my body still feels unsafe.”
“I had profound insights…
but I still fall into the same survival patterns.”
This is where many people begin to realise that healing is not only about insight.
Because psychedelic experiences can reveal trauma.
But revelation alone does not automatically become integration.
The body still needs support to process what has surfaced.
And healing often requires learning how to:
✔️ slow down enough to listen
✔️ track activation in real time
✔️ stay present with sensation
✔️ recognise protective responses without shame
✔️ work with the nervous system rather than override it
✔️ allow the body’s process to unfold at a pace it can actually integrate
This is the heart of somatic psychedelic work.
And this is one of the core reasons I created the Somatic Foundations for Safe Psychedelic Practice immersion.
A 25-hour training for psychedelic wayfarers, practitioners, facilitators, and therapists who want to:
✔️ bridge the gap between mind and body
✔️ work with trauma more safely
✔️ deepen somatic awareness and embodied presence
✔️ understand the nervous system in psychedelic spaces
✔️ support psychedelic integration beyond cognitive insight alone
✔️ build grounded, trauma-informed foundations for this work
🌿 Early Bird Offer: $397 USD until June 1st ✨

There’s a strong movement in healing spaces right now toward openness.
“Just go with the flow.”
“Trust what arises.”
“Follow your intuition.”
And while this can feel liberating for some, it can be deeply confusing—or even overwhelming—for others.
Especially for those with complex trauma.
Because when your system has learned to survive through adaptation, your inner signals are not always clear or accessible.
What feels like a “yes” might be fawning.
What looks like surrender might be dissociation.
What appears calm might be shutdown.
For many trauma survivors, there isn’t immediate access to needs, limits, or desires.
There can be a deep, often unconscious pull to do things “right,” to stay connected, to not disrupt, to not lose belonging.
So in spaces where there is little orientation or guidance, something subtle but important can happen:
people start tracking others instead of themselves. And in expanded states, this becomes even more amplified.
You might notice:
🌿 going along with something that doesn’t fully feel right
🌿 feeling unsure what you actually want or need
🌿 becoming very open, but also ungrounded or overwhelmed
🌿 freezing, disconnecting, or “going quiet” internally
🌿 wanting support, but not knowing how to ask for it
It is a nervous system doing exactly what it learned to do to stay safe.
This is why “just giving space” is not always supportive.
If someone is in freeze or dissociation—especially when trauma is relational—lack of attunement can deepen the disconnection.
And this is where retraumatization can happen quietly.
Not because something overtly harmful occurred, but because something essential was missing.
Safety is not just openness. It is orientation, pacing, attunement, and the possibility to return.

🌿 One of the biggest things I’ve witnessed in psychedelic spaces is that what gets missed is often not happening because of a lack of care.
It’s because so many practitioners, facilitators, and wayfarers have simply never been taught how to deeply listen to the body and what it is communicating beneath the story.
Because trauma does not only emerge through words.
🌿 It emerges through activation, shutdown, emotional flooding, numbness, urgency, dissociation, subtle nervous system shifts, and the body trying to complete what was never fully processed.
And when we don’t know how to recognise what is unfolding in real time, we often move too quickly into analysis, interpretation, catharsis, or premature meaning-making.
🌿 But the body carries an intelligence that is continuously organising, responding, and moving toward resolution.
This is why I created the Somatic Foundations for Safe Psychedelic Practice immersion.
A 25-hour training for practitioners, facilitators, therapists, and psychedelic wayfarers who want to:
✔️ work with trauma more safely
✔️ deepen somatic awareness

Something I often say is this:
Psychedelics are amplifiers.
They don’t decide what is good or bad. They don’t choose what comes forward. They amplify what is already there.
What is resourced can feel expansive. What is unresolved can become more visible.
And that’s where an important distinction comes in.
A dear brother shared something with me recently that stayed:
🌿 psychedelics don’t heal trauma — they reveal trauma.🌿
And there is a big difference between the two. Revelation can be powerful.
It can bring clarity, insight, access to parts that were hidden or out of reach.
🌿 But healing…
healing requires something else.
It requires time.
It requires safety.
It requires a nervous system that can stay with what has been revealed without becoming overwhelmed or disconnected.
Because when something is revealed, it doesn’t automatically resolve.
It enters your awareness — and then it asks to be met, felt, and integrated.
This is why what happens after the experience matters so much.
So take a moment to notice— what happens in your body when you hear this?
That psychedelics may show you what is there… but not necessarily heal it.

Psychedelic and healing spaces are NOT neutral. They are spaces of power, and like any space of power, they attract certain dynamics and certain people.
🌿 On one side, there are deeply sincere, responsible, and devoted practitioners who are committed to integrity and care.
And at the same time, we can also see that positions of spiritual leadership can attract people who are drawn to influence, control, or recognition.
And on the other side, the people entering these spaces are often not neutral either.
They come open.
Searching.
Sometimes carrying wounds that have not yet been met or held.
• ✨people longing for safety
• ✨people longing for guidance
• ✨people longing to finally feel seen
This creates a dynamic.
Vulnerability meets power. ✨
And without awareness, training, and ethical grounding, this can become a place where harm happens—not always intentionally, but still with real impact.
✨ This is why this work requires more than good intention.
It requires self-awareness, regulation, and responsibility.
Not only to hold space for others,
but to understand what we ourselves bring into that space.
🌿 The Somatic Foundations for Safe Psychedelic Practice is a 25-hour immersion designed to build exactly this capacity—working with the nervous system, relational dynamics, and ethical presence in preparation, facilitation, and integration.

Integration is not one thing. It happens in layers.
After a psychedelic experience, what unfolds is a process that touches different parts of your being, often at different times and at different speeds.
There is the mind—making sense, finding meaning, creating narrative.
There is the heart—feeling what was opened, grieving, softening, reconnecting.
There is the physical body—where tension, activation, or release continues to move.
There is the emotional body—where old patterns, memories, and responses begin to surface.
There is the energy body—subtle shifts in sensitivity, openness, and perception.
There is the spirit and soul—questions of purpose, connection, and deeper orientation.
And integration doesn’t only happen within you.
It moves between:
🌿 individual and collective
🌿 inner world and environment
🌿 personal process and community / society
It meets your relationships, your context, your history, and the world you are part of. This is why integration can feel layered, nonlinear, and sometimes confusing.
One part of you may feel clear, while another is still processing. One layer may feel open, while another needs time, safety, and attention.

The safety of knowing you can come back is something I don’t see spoken about enough.
In so many healing spaces, there is a focus on opening—opening the heart, opening emotions, opening altered states—and while that can be powerful, it can also be misleading if we don’t equally value what it means to return.
Because safety is not only about how deeply someone can go, it’s about whether their system knows there is a way back.
Back to the body, back to orientation, back to a place where they can feel themselves again and not get lost in the intensity of what is arising.
🌿 And for many people, especially those who have lived through complex trauma, opening is not the difficult part.
There is often a long history of overriding limits, adapting, staying in experiences that didn’t feel safe, disconnecting when things became too much, or going along in order to stay connected. So when we invite people to “open more” without also supporting their capacity to return, we can unknowingly lead them into states that feel familiar—but not necessarily safe.
I’ve seen how disorienting it can be when something opens and there isn’t enough support to come back from it.
This is why the safety of return matters sooooo much.
It allows the nervous system to take risks without getting lost. It creates trust—not just in the space, but in the experience itself. Knowing that you can come back changes how far the system is actually able to go in a way that is sustainable.

Most people say they are “trauma-informed.”
But when it comes to complex trauma, there are still many misunderstandings that shape how healing spaces are held.
Here are 7 common myths:
🌿 that calling a space “safe” creates safety
🌿 that a calm body means a regulated nervous system
🌿 that intensity equals depth or progress
🌿 that emotional expression always leads to healing
🌿 that somatic work is just shaking or releasing energy
🌿 that insight leads to change
🌿 that the facilitator is neutral in the process
Complex trauma lives in patterns that are often subtle, embodied, and relational.
Without understanding capacity, nervous system states, and our own unconscious responses, we risk reinforcing what we are trying to heal.
This work asks for more depth.
More responsibility.
More awareness of what is happening beneath the surface.
Want to go deeper—but not bypass what’s still unresolved?

This gentle somatic practice is not about fixing what you feel.
It’s about learning how to stay.
To slow down.
To turn inward.
To listen to what is already there—without pressure.
Because much of what moves through us doesn’t come in words.
It comes through sensation. Through subtle shifts. Through the body.
And when we don’t know how to stay with that…
we move past something that is still unfolding.
This is the foundation most psychedelic trainings don’t teach—
how to stay with the body as it speaks.
Through this practice, you begin to:
✔️ Attune to your inner landscape through body-based awareness
✔️ Strengthen self-regulation by orienting to sensation and emotion
✔️ Stay with your experience—without leaving parts of yourself behind
