From 18–20 August 2026, the Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP), Jakarta, hosted Gateway to Global Education Opportunities 2026 at The Westin Jakarta, Indonesia, bringing together leading Thai educational institutions and Indonesian education partners to strengthen international networks and explore new opportunities for collaboration.

The opening ceremony was honored by H.E. Mr. Prapan Disyatat, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Republic of Indonesia, together with Mrs. Hataichanok Sivara, Director of the Thai Trade Center, Jakarta, and Mrs. Nassaree Pathan, Deputy Director of the Thai Trade Center, Jakarta.

On this occasion, Asst. Prof. Dr. Issariya Woraphiphat, Director of Siam Business Administration Technological College (SBAC), together with the International Affairs team, joined representatives from 15 leading Thai educational institutions in the Business Matching and Study in Thailand Expo – Indonesia 2026.

At the Study in Thailand Expo, SBAC presented its international study opportunities and promoted the 2-Year Diploma Program in Tourism & Hospitality to Indonesian students. The program offers a Bilingual learning environment covering Tourism, Hotel Management, and Food & Nutrition, with a strong focus on hands-on learning and practical experience through modern labs and industry-based training.

The program attracted strong interest from Indonesian students who are looking for opportunities to study in Thailand, gain real-world experience, build their professional portfolio, and connect with leading industry partners. Through practical learning and work experience, students can develop the skills and professional connections needed to prepare for future careers in the international tourism and hospitality industry.

Beyond student recruitment, SBAC actively engaged with Indonesian educational institutions and partners to exchange ideas, build professional networks, and explore opportunities for academic collaboration, student mobility, international programs, and knowledge exchange.

Through these international engagements, SBAC continues to expand its global network, strengthen strategic partnerships, and elevate the quality of education by connecting students with international learning opportunities and the world of work.

What is it really like to study abroad, experience a new culture, and grow beyond the classroom?

At the SBAC Student Exchange Experience Sharing & Reflection, our returning students took the stage to share their unforgettable international experiences, inspiring fellow students to dream bigger, explore the world, and embrace new opportunities.

✨ Throughout the session, students reflected on their academic journeys and life-changing experiences from international programs across Asia:

🇰🇷 South Korea – Tourism & Hospitality students shared their incredible four-month experience at Keimyung College University through the ASEAN TVET Exchange Program 2026, giving audiences a glimpse into Korean campus life, classroom learning, cultural activities, and a heartfelt Vlog capturing unforgettable memories.

🇨🇳 China – Information Technology students reflected on their academic exchange at Nanjing Vocational College of Information Technology (NJCIT), where they strengthened both their technical knowledge and global perspectives.

🇰🇷 South Korea – An English Program student shared memorable moments from the ODOS Summer Camp 2025 at Sookmyung Women’s University, highlighting personal growth, intercultural friendships, and language development.

🇸🇬 Singapore x Thailand – Information Technology students showcased their role in organizing workshops and supporting international participants during the SBAC x ITE Exchange Program 2026, demonstrating leadership, teamwork, and intercultural communication in action.

💬 The event concluded with an interactive Reflection & Q&A session, where students discussed how studying abroad has broadened their perspectives, strengthened their confidence, and prepared them to thrive in today's global workplace.

🌏✨ SBAC x ITE Green Innovation Workshop and Cultural Immersion Program 2026 on 15–26 June 2026 🇹🇭🇸🇬
For two inspiring weeks, SBAC proudly welcomed faculty members and students from the School of Info-Comm & Electronics, Institute of Technical Education (ITE), Singapore, for the SBAC x ITE Green Innovation Workshop and Cultural Immersion Program 2026.
More than an exchange program, this was a journey of innovation, cross-cultural learning, and lifelong friendship—bringing together young talents from Thailand and Singapore to collaborate, create, and grow.
Throughout the program, participants experienced:
🌱 Global Green Innovation Hackathon
Working in international teams, students from SBAC and ITE developed sustainable solutions to real-world environmental challenges presented by SCG Chemicals Company Limited.
📚 Cultural Immersion
From graceful Thai classical dance and traditional Bua Loy dessert making to the art of Muay Thai, participants gained first-hand experiences of Thailand's rich cultural heritage.
🚀 Innovation Exploration
Students visited Futurium, discovering cutting-edge technologies and innovative ideas that are shaping a more sustainable future.
Over the past two weeks, students and faculty shared knowledge, embraced different perspectives, and built meaningful connections that extend far beyond the classroom. These experiences have laid a strong foundation for future collaboration while inspiring the next generation of global innovators and responsible leaders.

Halfway in Korea 🇰🇷 – Let the Fun Continue! ✨

We’ve reached the halfway point of our SBAC x KMCU ASEAN TVET Exchange Program at Keimyung College University, Republic of Korea, and our SBAC students have been learning far beyond the classroom through real hands-on experiences.
From practical training and interactive workshops to engaging in real-world environments, they’ve been applying their knowledge, building new skills, and gaining confidence every step of the way. This journey is all about learning by doing — and our students are making the most of every opportunity.
Along the way, they’re also experiencing Korean culture firsthand, adapting to a new environment, and growing both personally and professionally.

เราเดินทางมาถึงครึ่งทางของโครงการแลกเปลี่ยน SBAC x KMCU ASEAN TVET Exchange Program ณ Keimyung College University สาธารณรัฐเกาหลีแล้ว และตลอดเวลาที่ผ่านมา นักศึกษา SBAC ได้เรียนรู้นอกห้องเรียนผ่านประสบการณ์จริงอย่างเข้มข้น
ทั้งการฝึกปฏิบัติ เวิร์กช็อป และการเรียนรู้ในสถานการณ์จริง นักศึกษาได้ลงมือทำจริง พัฒนาทักษะ และเสริมความมั่นใจในทุก ๆ วัน นี่คือการเรียนรู้แบบ learning by doing อย่างแท้จริง
