Colleagues from the University of Applied Sciences Weihenstephan-Triesdorf .de have reached Lomé, the capital of Togo. The first visit was done at the BASIS partner university UCAO-UUT
A fruitful and warm exchange was done with the President of the university and various team members as well as students.

At the national conference on BASIS

The national conference on the BASIS project is currently underway in the Oneye conference room of the Concorde Hotel in Lomé.

Efficient data handling is important for modern agricultural education.
Through the BASIS project, students and staff receive training in:
- Data storage
- Data collection
- Data management
The goal: enabling universities to use real data in teaching, learning, and applied research.

At Uganda Martyrs University (UMU), the BASIS project continues to create real impact.

- 25 students successfully completed their farm placements

- 15 students gained hands-on experience through practice elements such as Gross Margin calculation and interdisciplinary research projects
We are proud to contribute to strengthening agricultural education in Uganda.

At our partner university UCAO-UUT in Togo, students are gaining experience that prepares them for real-world agricultural challenges. 🇹🇬🌱
- 29 students completed their practical farm placements
- 50 students took part in training elements such as Gross Margin calculation and interdisciplinary research
Together, we are boosting agricultural skills and knowledge across Sub-Saharan Africa!
