🍂✨ HELLO, OCTOBER! ✨🍂
A new month, a new season, and another opportunity to simply say, “Thank You, Lord.” 🙏🏾🤎
I’m walking into October with a heart full of gratitude—for every blessing I can see, every prayer He’s answered, and even the things He’s still working out behind the scenes. I don’t know everything this month will bring, but I know WHO goes before me. 🙌🏾
📖 “Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever.” — Psalm 107:1
October, I welcome you with faith, favor, peace, purpose, and expectation. 🍁✨ May God order my steps, protect what He has given me, and continue preparing me for everything He has promised.
Happy October 1st! 🤎🍂🙏🏾

PROUD COACH MOMENT!! 🥹💙🔥

I got to surprise my MCDC Alum at the JSU vs. Tuskegee game, and y’all… I was almost in TEARS! 🥹 To watch this young lady, now a Tuskegee University student and beautiful Piperette, take that field with so much confidence, professionalism, and FIRE was everything! 🔥🔥🔥

BABY GIRL THREW FLAMES in EVERY dance! 💃🏾🔥 She stood out on that field, and I couldn't stop smiling! Watching the little girl I coached grow into this amazing collegiate dancer is one of those moments that reminds me WHY I do what I do.

Jordyn, Coach Maya is SO PROUD OF YOU! Keep shining, keep dancing, and keep setting that field ON FIRE! 🔥💙❤️

Once MCDC, ALWAYS MCDC! ⭐️

From Mississippi roots to a journey around the world. ❤️✨

I’m a Mississippi girl who dared to dream BIG. At 15 years old, I opened my first dance studio, never imagining where that dream would take me.
From working with music legends like James Brown, Earth, Wind & Fire, Bobby Rush and more, to the Chicago Luvabulls, attending Jackson State University and later being inducted into the JSU Theatre Arts Hall of Fame. 💙🐯
Then came Texas ⭐—the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, Dallas Mavericks, professional choreography, coaching Arena Football cheerleaders, and years of traveling and performing around the world. 🌎
But my journey grew beyond dance. I stepped into Real Estate leadership as a Director while continuing to build as an entrepreneur—an invention, w**e company, dancewear line, business coaching, and now a future touring dance company bringing my passion full circle.
Through every stage, boardroom, business and new dream, I’ve carried Mississippi with me.
Mississippi made me. The world expanded me. God continues to guide me. 🙏🏾✨
And I’m still building. Still dreaming. Still becoming.
From Mississippi to the world… the journey continues. ❤️🌎
