ILS Landing at Night

During descent, airspeed is very important. You can’t be too slow to avoid stall, and you can’t be too fast to avoid overrunning the runways. So going too fast could be dangerous. Usually, during descent, the reduction of your airspeed would mainly depend on how many nautical miles before the threshold and the angle of attack. Here in this training course, my airspeed was 100 knots at the top of descent. I reduced power and trimmed down to 0.5 degrees to match my glide slope indicator.

Learning to set the vision jet altimeter. Aerodrome pressure was at 30.07 inch of mercury. The glass cockpit is easier to use but you gotta learn it. But I still love the traditional altimeter settings in the Cessna 172. It’s kinda difficult to learn for beginners.
