Dear Students,
As we come to the end of a successful Term One, I want to wish each one of you a restful, joyful, and safe holiday. You have worked hard, shown great effort in your studies, and grown in many ways. Take this time to rest, spend quality moments with your family, recharge your energy, and prepare for an even stronger Term Two.
While you enjoy your break, please remember to stay safe and make wise choices.
A special warning on drugs and GBV (Gender-Based Violence):
Holidays can be a time of fun, but they can also bring temptations. I urge you to stay away from drugs whether it’s alcohol, ci******es, dagga, or any other substances. Drugs may seem exciting or a way to “fit in,” but they destroy your health, your dreams, your future, and even your life. They cloud your mind, affect your studies, and can lead to serious addiction. Choose real strength: say NO and protect your bright future.
Also, remember that Gender-Based Violence is never okay. Whether you are a boy or a girl, respect yourself and respect others. No one has the right to hurt, insult, force, or abuse anyone physically, emotionally, or sexually. If you see GBV happening, speak up or report it to a trusted adult. If you ever feel unsafe, reach out for help immediately. Treat everyone with kindness and dignity.
Stay away from bad influences, choose positive friends, and use your time productively ,read, help at home, exercise, or learn a new skill.
Make your parents, teachers, and yourself proud by returning in Term Two refreshed, healthy, and ready to achieve more.
Have a wonderful holiday! We believe in you and can’t wait to see you back stronger.
