It will be hold in Damascus- the oldest capital city in the world, the cradle of cultures - which will meet again in Damascus, the center of Agora. They share their thoughts and experiences. They were disagreeing and arguing in a circle which is called Agora. Agora Circuit, this word which has long described the most prestigious places of the old city until it be nowadays what we call "Scientific research centers and Academies " and even what might be describes like universities that it is represented at that time. The word of Agora became more important until it published not even spread throughout the ancient Syria, but also moved with the ships of early explorers to the coast of Greece- the cradle of ancient Greek civilization- which maintained the position of the world of Agora and published it too. Th cultural centers of Agora was established in Anatolia , Ancient Egypt, Italy and most of the coast of North old Africa . In this region which mediates the world there is one of the wonders of our active society that a commonplace word on the tongues of people describe the part of the street turns to a unique term which continued throughout the millennia to describes the custodial place for the most of the knowledge people that time. Greeks designed the Agore complexes like Syrian one, but more accurate identification and discrimination as a community independent within the city. Perhaps, because the Greeks had allocated the land from the city to be Agora. Unlike the Syrians who have allocated some of the adjacent buildings to formation the Agora as their needs. Most likely, the Greek agora was consisted from a hall of worship which contains a statue (Jupiter). Several of smaller buildings cluster around it, including: the library, hall of debate or argument, astronomical observatory. Greeks use Agora as a place where the elite of scientists meet to discuss the ideas and the new discoveries. These arguments were not moved to halls of kingsو, because that the Agora collected scientists of the city everyday. So, they have brought their manuscript books which carefully is preserved in the libraries of pottery and wood in the form of a coil of the skin and later on papyrus. Agora is a circle of knowledge. Today, this great place might have evolved like universities and academic institutions. The idea of Agora as a artistic cultural circle which suit to this age to be an circle where elite people meets including what is produced for colleges and institutes .Where the elite of our cultural society combined. It will be hold in Damascus- the oldest capital city in the world, the cradle of cultures - which will meet again in Damascus ,the center of Agora. Which is a compound of the public library, art gallery and theater. It includes rooms for workshops, a cafe and a garden. Accordingly, I would like to use a general feature for the design of my project. Owl, the symbol of wisdom and deep knowledge should be patient, shrewdly planned with the unique ability to view which making it more distinct intuition and clairvoyance . In spite of the very dark, it likes in the top of his energy. From here, I get inspired the philosophy of the project. Who never lose in the dark should deserve to be a symbol of the Agora, which will remain a light of wisdom. The symbol of owe at the civilizations of Egypt, Celtic and ancient Indian centers in the guard of the other world .Guide of the dead. According to Greeks Greece, it has a very special place because it is a sacred to the gods of science in Athens .It appeared in many of the sculptures companion to the gods of science .It was also engraved on some Greek coins as a symbol of intelligence and wealth

آلاف من السنين مضت، عن زمنٍ كانت تجتمع فيه نخبة من المجتمع في مكانٍ واحد من سوريا القديمة، حيث كانوا يتبادلون أفكارهم و تجاربهم، يتجادلون ويتخالفون في دائرة واحدة، سمّيت مع الزمن آغورا Agora
الدائرة، هذه الكلمة التي لطالما وصَفت أرقى الأماكن في المدينة القديمة حتى باتت تًطلق على ما نسميه اليوم " مراكز البحث العلمي والأكاديميات " وحتى ما يمكن أن يوصف بالجامعات كما مُثّلت في ذلك الزمن.
آغورا كلمةُ ازدادت مكانتها و انتشرت ليس في أرجاء سوريا القديمة فحسب بل انتقلت مع سفن المستكشفين الأوائل الى سواحل اليونان مهد الحضارة الإغريقيّة العريقة التي حافظت لآغورا " الكلمة " على مكانتها ونشرتها أيضاً.
لقد أنشأت مراكزها الثقافية في الأناضول ومصر القديمة وإيطاليا وأغلب سواحل شمال افريقيا القديمة. ومن عجائب مجتمعنا الحي في هذه المنطقة التي تتوسط العالم، أن تتحول كلمة عادية شائعة على ألسنة الناس واصفةُ جزءاً من الشارع إلى مصطلحٍ فريد استمر طــيلة قرون ليصف المكان الحاضن لأغلب المعارف في ذلك الزمن.
صمم الإغريق مجمعات آغورا كمثيلتها السوريّة و لكن بتحديد وتمييز أدق كمجتمع مستقل داخل المدينة، ربما لأن الإغريق خصصوا تلك الأراضي من المدينة لتكون آغورا وعلى عكس السوريين الذين خصصوا بعض المباني المتجاورة لتكوين آغورا حسب حاجتهم . و
على الأغلب يعتقد أن تكوّن آغورا الإغريقية مكوّنة من قاعة عبادة تحوي على تمثال (جوبتر)و تتجمع حولها عدة مباني أصغر منها: المكتبة، قاعة المناقشة أو المجادلة، مرصد فلكي.
استخدم الإغريق آغورا كمكان تجتمع فيه نخبة العلماء لنقاش الأفكار والاكتشافات الجديدة، حيث لم تكن قد انتقلت هذه المجادلات إلى قاعات الملوك. ولأن آغورا كانت تجمع يومياً علماء المدينة، فقد جلبت معهم كتبهم المخطوطة التي حًفظت بعناية في مكتبات من فخار وخشب على شكل لفائف من الجلد وفيما بعد ورق البردي.
آغورا دائرة المعرفة ، فاليوم هذا المكان العظيم ربما قد طوّر لنا على شكل جامعات ومعاهد أكاديمية، ولكن تبقى فكرة آغورا كدائرة ثقافية فنيّة تُلائم هذا العصر لتكون لنا الدائرة التي تجتمع ضمنها نخبة ما ينتج عن الكليات و المعاهد، وحينها تجتمع نخبة مجتمعنا الثقافي فيه.
آغورا مركز ثقافي فنّي. سيُقام في دمشق أقدم مدينة عاصمة في العالم، مهد الثقافات التي ستجتمع من جديد في دائرة آغورا - دمشق. والذي هو مجمّع من مكتبة عامة ومعرض فنيّ و مسرح، و بينها قاعات ورش عمل ومقهى وحديقة.
أحببت أن أستخدم اليوم سمة عامة لتصميم مشروعي.
فــطائر البوم هو رمزٌ الحكمة والمعرفة العميقة، صبور، يخطط بدهاء مع قدرة نظر فريدة من نوعها مما يجعله ذو حدس واستبصار متميز. فهو رغم الظلام الشديد يكون بقمة طاقته. و من هنا استوحيت الفلسفة الرمزية للمشروع. فمن لا يتوه في الظلام لابد أن يستحق أن يكون رمزاً لآغورا التي ستبقى نوراً للحكمة.
يتمحور رمز البوم عند الحضارات المصرية والسلتية والهندية القديمة بحارس العالم الآخر. ومُرشد الموتى.
أما عند الإغريق اليونان فله مكانة خاصة جداً لأنه كائنٌ مقدّس لدى آلهة العلم في أثينا وقد ظهر في العديد من المنحوتات مرافقاً لآلهة العلم.
كما و تم نقشه على بعض العملات المعدنية الإغريقية كرمز الذكاء و الثروة.
