يعد الاتحاد الوطني لطلبة سورية - فرع الجامعة الافتراضية سورية، الممثل الشرعي الوحيد لجميع طلاب الجامعة الافتراضية، للتعبير عن متطلباتهم والدفاع عن قضاياهم، ويضم عدة هيئات طلابية تهدف إلى العديد من النقاط إلى جانب السعي لحل مشاكلهم وهمومهم ومنها:
- تنمية القيم الوطنية والأخلاقية.
- بث الروح الجامعية بين الطلاب، وتوثيق الروابط فيما بينهم من جهة وبينهم وبين أعضاء الهيئة التدريسية من جهة أخرى.
-اكتشاف واستقطاب المهارات المختلفة لدى الطلاب والعمل على صقلها.
-تنظيم وتفعيل الأنشطة الرياضية والاجتماعية والفنية والثقافية. The National Union of Syrian Students - Branch of the Syrian Virtual University is the only legitimate representative of all students of the Virtual University, to express their requirements and defend their issues. It includes several student bodies that aim at many points in addition to striving to solve their problems and concerns, including:
_The development of national and moral values.
_Spreading the university spirit among students, and strengthening the ties between them on the one hand, and between them and faculty members on the other.
_Discover and attract the different skills of students and work on refining them.
_Organizing and activating sports, social, artistic and cultural activities.
