Social Media Manager –

JOB DESCRIPTION

Currently looking for junior support engineers to assist new B2B clients who buy VoIP termination/origination (DID and outbound SIP) for call centers and resellers. On-the-job training is provided.

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Perform pre-sales engineering and provisioning tasks

* Respond to RFSE (Request for Sales Engineering) in tandem with Sales Engineers

* Work closely with network operations and network monitoring teams

* Work directly with client IT teams via email and phone to troubleshoot equipment

* Work with Tier1 suppliers to open and resolve tickets and perform testing

* Proactively suggest and implement system and process improvements

* Assist clients with remote troubleshooting of their SIP based PBXes

* Go down to any level, including front line, to troubleshoot specific VoIP issues

QUALIFICATIONS

+ Ability to support Linux based PBXes such as Asterisk and Freeswitch, or desire to learn the skills on the job

+ Understanding of QoS, Linux based packet trace tools, SIP signalling debug, or desire to learn the skill during on-the-job training a plus

+ Cisco or Sonus SBC experience, or previous CLEC/Tier1 employment a plus

Participate in recommending to Senior Management changes to and/or new policies and procedures affecting all aspects of departmental operations;
Assist Senior Management with the implementation of recommendations;
Conduct and coordinate administrative and management response to concerns associated with properties occupied under lease and license agreements
Oversee leased sites within a designated borough or boroughs, and will accordingly be required to develop strong communication and working relationships with representatives of landlords,
Participate in recommending to Senior Management changes to and/or new policies and procedures affecting all aspects of departmental operations
Assist Senior Management with the implementation of recommendations
Coordinate departmental and/or Authority-wide special projects involving leased sites, including planned capital projects or programs to be undertaken by the SCA
Build and gain consensus on appropriate responses to concerns identified at leased sites
Perform associated duties as required by the Director or Senior Director, or based on assignment to a department, division, or unit within the SCA

Minimum Qualifications:
Excellent command of the English language
2 years of full-time experience in consulting, design and implementation of management reports landlord-tenant relations; property management, real estate; customer service, or operations, financial, and/or management analysis including relevant computer skills;
The ideal candidate should have experience in surveying properties for lease or acquisition, experience with real estate negotiations and evaluating appraisals, reports, surveys, etc.
Familiar with NY city landlord tenant laws a huge plus
