History came to life at the Maqui library! ✨
As part of our Independence Month celebration, we held a very special Wax Museum together with our Maquis from the Visual and Performing Arts elective class: characters and presentations that remind us who we are. 💙
Best of all, the stars of the show weren't wax figures… they were our own students! They researched, learned about, and portrayed the figures who are part of El Salvador's history and culture, bringing them to life with their effort, creativity, and pride in our roots.
We also had special guests: our 3rd grade Maquis. 👏
Because when students research and share what they've learned, that learning stays with them forever.
