Closing Term One with pride and sportsmanship โฝ
Though Loyola fell 2โ1 to Bright Future in the finals, our girls showed determination, teamwork, and heart throughout the game. Winning isnโt everything the passion, courage, and spirit displayed on the field made us proud. Well played, champions!

Loyola Girls Reach Finals After Dramatic Penalty Win
Thu 14 May 2026 - In a tense quarter-final or semi-final clash at the UNMISS-organized football tournament under the Bangladesh Battalion 9, Loyola Secondary Schoolโs Girls Football Team battled past Umbili in a thrilling encounter.
The match was packed with excitement and end-to-end action, with our girls holding firm before clinching victory in a dramatic penalty shootout. They now advance to the Final tomorrow against Bright Future.
With Term One also coming to a close tomorrow, the day will wrap up with a celebratory dance, a special lunch, and departure for the short holidays.

Our Students Returns Home - Wed 13 May 2026
We are delighted to announce that our students have safely returned to Wau today after their successful participation in the East African Debate Championship 2026 in Uganda.
Our Principal, Fr. Jean Baptiste warmly welcomed them upon arrival as they unloaded their luggage from the school bus. The atmosphere was filled with joy and excitement as the students shared memorable experiences and highlights from
their journey.
This remarkable trip has brought honour to the school and the nation. A formal reception and official recognition await in the coming days.

Loyola Secondary School - Wau Visits National Ministry, Tue 12 May 2026
We are pleased to share that our students earlier today, paid a courtesy visit to the National Ministry of General Education and Instruction after returning from the East African Debate Championship 2026 in Uganda.
The delegation was warmly received by National Minister Hon. Dr. Kuyok Abol Kuyok and Director General David. The fruitful meeting allowed the students to present their experience while strengthening collaboration between the school and the Ministry.
The Minister and his team commended the students for their excellent performance and dignified representation of South Sudan. This engagement underscores our shared commitment to quality education and youth development.
We thank Hon. Dr. Kuyok Abol Kuyok and the entire Ministry for their continued support.
