Queen’s Nursery and Primary School is is currently facing huge challenges of benches for pupils to sit on while attending lessons. Following the massive enrollments this year, the few benches and tables donated by the Chinese contingent can no longer contain all pupils. Pupils sit on the dusty floor and others stand while learning.
We appeal to our international partners to support us with benches and tables.
Thank you for your usual cooperation.

You meet people who forget you. You forget people you meet. But sometimes you meet those people you can’t forget. Those are friends. Though they may be lost to distance, hope is not, the key is to keep them in your heart and when the time is right you can pick up the friendship right where you left off.

BANE TRUST
My name is Hellen James. I am the second born in a family of three children. Our father used to care for us very well. Unfortunately he died in the battle in Malakal in 2014. After his death, our mother got married to our stepfather who hated us with passion. They later left to the country side leaving us with our 70 years grandmother who could hardly care for us. When I was 13 years my grandmother gave 500ssp to start a merge business. I started business of selling sweets to raise money for our food at home. Thanks to Bane Trust for sponsoring me. I will study and become an advocate of good governance to avoid wars that make children like me orphans.

South Sudan is a country stricken by economic and political crisis, extreme poverty and numerous natural catastrophes. Hence prompting acute problem of orphans and semi-orphans. Most of these orphans dropped out of school because they could not afford to pay school fees and get involved in rag picking, pick pocketing and participate in antisocial criminal activities.
However, Bane Trust saw their potential and invested in their future by sponsoring them and keep them in school for a year.

The most underprivileged group in South Sudan are the thousands of street children who live or work on the street. The reasons behind this are either these children are orphans or come from poor economic background and in several cases run away from home to escape child abuse. These children are malnourished, never go to school or dropouts. They lost their childhood and only have a little hope for a better future.
To make their dreams come true Bane Trust took an initiative to sponsor these children in school in order to help these poverty stricken and orphan children with their over all development.
