Leaders of Luacjang Students in Juba visit Dr. James Alic Garang

Leaders of Luacjang students from various universities and higher institutes in Juba paid a visit to Dr. James Alic Garang, the former Governor of the Bank of South Sudan, at his residence to congratulate him on his outstanding achievements during his tenure.

During their interaction, Dr. Alic encouraged the students to focus on their studies and strive to improve their academic performance. He also emphasized the importance of building friendships and offering mutual support among students.

Mr. Malieny Anet, Chairperson of the Luacjang Students, praised Dr. Alic for his warm hospitality and highlighted his inspiring leadership.
The students also took the opportunity to extend their New Year greetings to Dr. Alic.

In a gesture of surprise, the students wore t-shirts branded with his photo and the words, “Happy New Year Dr. James Alic Garang.”He even pledge 1 000 USD which is equivalent 5,000,000 millions SSP to the leadership of Geo AJUONG Jr, chairman of Luac-jang students union in universities and higher institutes in Juba.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude for the incredible opportunity to lead as part of this esteemed assembly. It is truly an honor to serve alongside such dedicated individuals who are committed to making a positive impact within our academic community.

I am deeply appreciative of the trust and confidence you have placed in me to fulfill a leadership role. I am excited about the possibilities that lie ahead and am wholeheartedly committed to working collaboratively with all members to achieve our shared goals and objectives.

I would also like to appreciate my executive board who tirelessly committed to do their various duties. I would proudly say that I served with the most committed executive body ever, though the financial constraints of the country didn't allow us to meet all our objectives, it's not because of laziness.
