📢 ANNOUNCEMENT TO ALL STUDENTS AND PUPILS 🎉🎊🎊

This is to inform all boarding students and pupils that the official reporting day for Term Two is on Sunday 24th May, 2026. All boarders are requested to report to school on that day as it marks the official resumption of the term.

Day scholars are strongly encouraged to report to school on Monday 25th for the Beginning of Term (B.O.T) Two Examinations.

🕖 Reporting Time: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Please note that any student reporting beyond 4:00 PM shall immediately be sent back home.

All students are encouraged to keep time and report accordingly.

A Welcome Back Examination ☺️

This is to inform all students that on Monday 25th, which marks the official resumption of lessons for the new term, all students will sit for the B.O.T (Beginning of Term two) Examinations.

All students are strongly advised to use the remaining days to read adequately, sharply, and intensely, especially those who have not been reading during the holidays. Please prepare seriously as this examination will carry 30% of your term two grades/results.

Note: You shall use the same timetable that was used for the End of Term One Examinations.

Let us start the term on a strong academic note!

Congratulations to Akol Makeer Chol for securing the 3rd position in the South Sudan Mathematics Olympiad Senior Team.

After placing 5th in the 2025 South Sudan Mathematics Olympiads, Akol has shown strong improvement and earned a well-deserved spot to represent South Sudan at the East African Mathematics Olympiad (EAMO).

Wishing him and the entire team success as they prepare to compete.

Angeth Deng Chol, a proud alumna of Salaam Schools South Sudan and a respected debater in the South Sudan circuit. Having competed successfully at national and regional levels, including EADC 2025 and JSDC 2025, among others, she is currently serving as part of the Equity team at the East African Debate Championship 2026 in Kampala.

Angeth's role as Asst. Equity is to ensure fairness, safety, and inclusivity throughout the tournament. The importance of Equity is to handle complaints related to discrimination, harassment, or misconduct, support participants’ welfare, advice on sensitive motions, and work to maintain a respectful and accessible environment for all debaters, judges, and staff.

We at Salaam Schools - South Sudan are incredibly proud of Angeth Deng as she continues to grow in her debate and adjudication journey. Keep shining!

ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE 2022 BATCH ENGAGEMENT MEETING.

The Executive Board of Salaam Schools Old Students’ Association (SSOSA) is please to announce
the first batch engagement meeting under our SSOSA May Roadmap.

Meeting Details:
Batch: Academic Year 2022.
Date: Sunday, 10th May, 2026
Time: 2:00PM to 4:00PM
Venue: Salaam Secondary School.

All members of the 2022 batch are cordially invited and strongly encouraged to attend this
important gathering.

Objectives of the meeting.
1. To foster unity and reconnect members of 2022 batch with one another and with the
broader SSOSA network.
2. To formally introduce the mission, vision, and structure of SSOSA to the 2022 alumni.
3. To present and the core objectives of the new leadership.
4. To solicit valuable feedback, ideas, and recommendations from the 2022 batch on how
to strengthen SSOSA.

This meeting serves as a foundational step in our strategic plan to engage all recent alumni batches and build a vibrant, unified, and impactful old students’ association.
SSOSA Executive Board looks forward to the active participation of every 2022 alumnus. Your presence and contributions are vital to the success of this initiative and the future of SSOSA.
