Happy Holidays, Promised Land Family! 🎉✨

As I reflect on this special season, my heart is filled with gratitude and pride. This term has been incredibly meaningful for me—it was my first time back spending a full term with our Promised Land Primary and Promised Land Secondary School community since 2022, when I left for my graduate studies in the United States. Returning home to you all has been nothing short of inspiring.

To our dear students: you are the reason we do this work. Your resilience, determination, and hunger for knowledge continue to give hope not only to your families, but to the future of South Sudan. You are the leaders, peacebuilders, and change-makers our nation needs.

To our dedicated teachers: thank you for your tireless commitment, your sacrifices, and your passion for shaping young minds. You are the backbone of Promised Land, and your impact reaches far beyond the classroom.

To our supportive parents and friends: your trust, encouragement, and partnership make everything possible. Together, we are building more than a school—we are building a generation that will transform our country.

This journey we share is bigger than all of us. It is about creating opportunities where there were none, turning challenges into hope, and continuing our mission of “changing minds from bullets to books.”

As we celebrate this holiday season, may we be reminded of the power of unity, education, and purpose. The future of South Sudan is bright because of each one of you.

Wishing you all joy, peace, and renewed strength for the year ahead.

With gratitude and hope,
Director, Promised Land Schools

Embrace Your Unique Journey!

Growth looks different for everyone—and that’s the beauty of it. Your pace, your path, and your process are uniquely yours. Don’t measure your progress by someone else’s timeline.

What matters is that you’re moving, learning, and becoming better than you were yesterday. Stay consistent, stay focused, and trust your journey—because your version of growth is valid and powerful.
