Starford International University has issued a final notice to students who have not yet collected their examination cards, urging them to do so before exams begin.

In a notice released by the university’s Finance Office dated 27th April 2026, students were informed that examination cards will only be issued to those who have fully cleared all required payments and submitted the necessary documents.

According to the notice, students must present the following before collecting their examination cards:

Tuition fee receipt with zero balance

Requirements payment receipt with zero balance

One passport-size photo

Student ID or nationality identification

The university set separate deadlines for card collection, with first-year students required to collect their examination cards by Tuesday, 28th April 2026, while senior students have until Saturday, 9th May 2026.

The Finance Office further warned that no examination cards will be issued on the day of exams and students with outstanding balances will not be allowed to collect their cards.

The notice serves as a final reminder to all affected students to complete clearance and collect their cards within the stated deadlines to avoid missing examinations.

Breaking News:

The Board of the University of Juba has officially approved and implemented a decision to reduce tuition fees.

A 25% reduction will take effect starting from the 2025/2026 academic year.

Recognizing and Appreciating: Teachers Without Borders Association (TBA)

Teachers Without Borders Association is a non-profit organisation established in 2019 to champion quality education in South Sudan through debate, public speaking, poetry, sports, mock examinations, and other activities. Since its formation, TBA has conducted debate competitions and diverse extracurricular programmes across the country, making its activities massive, interactive, and educational. TBA has not only helped shape the standard of education in South Sudan but has also gained recognition both regionally and overseas for its tremendous role in the fight against illiteracy and ignorance.

The association consistently engages with all schools without discrimination, ensuring that every learner is exposed, discovered, and supported in developing their hidden talents. Classroom learning alone is not enough without exposure to peers from different schools. These activities have not only enriched learners with immense knowledge but have also provided numerous opportunities through sponsorships and scholarships within South Sudan and abroad.

Alekma Academy, like many other schools that take part in TBA’s activities, has benefited through participation in debates, mock examinations, and most recently by being crowned champions of the South Sudan Debaters Contest 2026 in Central Equatoria State – Juba, an event organised by TBA.

Thus, TBA has contributed significantly to the progress and growth of Alekma Academy as our partner in the fight against illiteracy in South Sudan.
