Recent Announcements & Academic Results
2025 Primary Examination Results: The Ministry of General Education and Instruction (MoGEI) recently released the results for the 2025 National Primary Education Certificate (P8).
High Pass Rate: Approximately 96% of candidates passed, with 81,431 students successful candidates notably led the national performance, with the highest scores recorded in Western Bahr el Ghazal and Unity State.
Back-to-Learning Campaign: The government launched a nationwide campaign on March 10, 2026, to boost school enrollment and encourage out-of-school children to return to classrooms.
Scholarship Initiatives: Multiple states have announced support for vulnerable learners:
Jonglei State: Selected 38 students for a national high school sponsorship program targeting orphans and families of veterans.
Central Equatoria State: Announced plans to sponsor at least 50 children of SPLA veterans and other disadvantaged students.
Western Equatoria State: Awarded Adut Salva scholarships to 38 students to study in Aweil.
