It is a time to reflect, to give, and to be grateful for what we have and who we share it with.

🌸 Mother’s Day
A mother’s love is one of the purest and strongest forces in the world. Through her quiet strength, she gives endlessly, supports unconditionally, and stands by us through every step of life.
In every challenge we face and every success we achieve, there is often a mother who believed in us first.
Today, we celebrate her strength, her sacrifices, and the love she gives so freely.

💖 Thank you for everything — today and always.
Happy Mother’s Day

A very special thank you to Prof. Lesli J. Wood (Colorado School of Mines) for taking the time to speak with us, sharing her experiences, and giving us insight into both fieldwork and office life in geoscience. Your story was truly inspiring.

🌍 Progress starts with people.

The AAPG Student Chapter Suriname celebrates and appreciates all workers today and every day.
Your impact matters.

Today we celebrate all women — the leaders, the dreamers, the students, the professionals, the mothers, the daughters, and the women who quietly support and strengthen those around them every day.

International Women’s Day is a reminder that strength comes in many forms. Whether in the workplace, in the classroom, at home, or in the community, every woman plays a powerful and meaningful role in shaping the world.

The AAPG Suriname Student Chapter celebrates and appreciates all women today and every day.
