𝗝𝗼𝗯𝗸𝗲𝘆 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 and 𝗜𝘀𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗞𝗲𝗻𝘆𝗮 are sister institutions united by a shared vision to grow together through education, research, and collaboration.

The Rector of Jobkey University, 𝗗𝗿. 𝗔𝗯𝗱𝗶𝗮𝘇𝗶𝘇 𝗔𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗲, who is currently on an official visit to Kenya, paid a courtesy visit to the 𝗜𝘀𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗞𝗲𝗻𝘆𝗮 (𝗜𝗨𝗞).

Dr. Agane and his delegation were warmly received by 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳. 𝗗𝗿. 𝗠𝗼𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗱 𝗔𝗯𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗼𝗿r, Vice Chancellor of the Islamic University of Kenya, and 𝗗𝗿. 𝗔𝗹𝗶 𝗦𝗮𝗶𝗱 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝗸𝗼𝗿,Deputy Vice Chancellor.

During the meeting, the two university leaders discussed areas of academic collaboration, including 𝒆𝒅𝒖𝒄𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒑𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒏𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒉𝒊𝒑𝒔, 𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒄𝒉, 𝒊𝒏𝒏𝒐𝒗𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏, 𝒔𝒉𝒐𝒓𝒕 𝒄𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒔𝒆𝒔, 𝒐𝒏𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒆 𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒆𝒙𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒇𝒇 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒔𝒕𝒖𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒔.

Dr. Agane expressed his sincere appreciation to the leadership of the Islamic University of Kenya for their warm welcome and outstanding hospitality.

In recent years, 𝗝𝗼𝗯𝗸𝗲𝘆 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 has been strengthening its relationships with universities and other educational institutions in order to promote cooperation, academic development, and institutional growth.

The Rector of Jobkey University, 𝗗𝗿. 𝗔𝗯𝗱𝗶𝗮𝘇𝗶𝘇 𝗔𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗲, paid an official visit to the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Somalia in Kenya.

He was warmly received at the Embassy by the Somali Ambassador to Kenya, 𝗛.𝗘. 𝗝𝗮𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗹 𝗔𝗯𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗹𝗲 During the meeting, the Ambassador commended Jobkey University and its leadership for the remarkable progress, achievements, and contributions the University has made since its establishment.

The two officials discussed available opportunities in Kenya and how Jobkey University can benefit from them, particularly in strengthening international relations, building academic partnerships, and connecting the University with educational institutions in East Africa.

In conclusion, Dr. Agane expressed his sincere appreciation to the Ambassador for the warm welcome and hospitality. He also praised the Ambassador for his continued support and commitment to serving the Somali community living in Kenya.

The Faculty of Health Sciences, together with its students and lecturers, is honored to extend heartfelt congratulations to the Midwifery students on the occasion of 𝙄𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝘿𝙖𝙮 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙈𝙞𝙙𝙬𝙞𝙛𝙚, celebrated globally every year on May 5th.
