Horseed Consulting Group (HCG) is for profit organization focusing on research, consultancy, and training. Since it is inception in June 2012, it has provided consultation to leaders in telecommunication and service industry as well as government and civil society organizations. It also participated in UNPD justice baseline research through Mogadishu University. HCG merged with Somali Poll in September 2013. HCG reverses brain drain by attracting Diaspora Somalis and talented local staff combining local prospective with international expertise. HCG conducts empirical social scientific research, public opinion polls, and demographic information. Research is divided into two areas market and policy. HCG consults businesses, government and other institutions. Business consultation currently focuses on service delivery, business process re-engineering, cost cutting, IT and telecommunication. Government consultation focuses on institutional building at grass roots. HCG initiates projects based on its research and partners with organizations to implement. HCG conducts rigorous data collection to provide insights to create value for clients to grow their business or build effective institutions. We are built on philosophy that Somali problem require Somali solution.
