Hemorrhoids(Qoramaley )are swollen and inflamed veins in the re**um or a**s that can cause pain, itching, discomfort, and re**al bleeding. They are generally classified into two main types: internal hemorrhoids, which occur inside the re**um, and external hemorrhoids, which develop under the skin around the a**s. Internal hemorrhoids are often painless but may bleed, while external hemorrhoids can be painful, especially when thrombosed (clotted).
The difference between these two types. Internal hemorrhoids (seen inside the re**al ca**l) can protrude outward and sometimes cause prolapse, leading to mucus discharge and irritation. External hemorrhoids (shown at the a**l opening) are visible and can become swollen, tender, and very uncomfortable, particularly when clots form.
Risk factors for hemorrhoids include chronic constipation, prolonged straining during bowel movements, pregnancy, obesity, and a low-fiber diet. Treatment varies depending on severity and can include conservative measures such as increasing dietary fiber, using stool softeners, topical creams, and sitz baths, or more advanced interventions like rubber band ligation, sclerotherapy, or surgical hemorrhoidectomy in severe cases. Prevention focuses on maintaining soft stools and avoiding excessive straining during defecation.
