Fatuma Aden, daughter of the first president of Somalia, said "I have attended a demonstration against my father the president.”
My father was told that I attended the demonstration agains him, at night he asked me. I said, "Yes, Father, it is right.
He laughed and said to me: "My daughter, you have done well."

Meet Abdulrahim Abby Farah (AUN)
He was a Somali diplomat and politician. He was Deputy Secretary General of the United Nations 1979-1990 and he also chaired a special committee against apartheid which helped in the release of Nelson Mandela.
He served as the Permanent Representative of Somalia to the United Nations , and as the Ambassador of Somalia to Ethiopia. He was the Chairperson of the PaSAGO non-governmental organization.
