On Friday, May 19, 2023, a ceremony was held in Mogadishu to award Professional Development Certificates to graduates of the Leadership and Management in Health course offered by the University of Washington e-Learning Department for Global Health via SADEC-Somali Academy For Development Center.

Representatives from several Somali universities, the Federal Ministry of Health and Human Services, Somali Academy for Development Center, students, and other guests attended the event. During the ceremony, the participants spoke words of congratulations, recognition and inspiration to the students.

SADEC Director, Dr. Abdirisaq Abdullahi Mohamed closed the ceremony.
