The African Leadership Academy has established a premium junior school in Mogadishu. Since we are fully aware of the problems bedeveling the education sector in Mogadishu, we have laid down 10 core strategies to ensure that our school will create and sustain high teaching and learning standards comensurate to those of "truly international schools." Therefore, we commit to:

i. Establish a Prestigious school with spacious and ultra-modern learning facilities.
ii. Implement a truly international curriculum and adopt exotic academic programs.
iii. Hire a qualified and an experienced school management team.
iv. Hire a proper team of certified qualified teachers to offer proper learning experiences.
v. Establish robust extra-curricular activities.
vi. Strictly observe English as the sole language of instruction and offer avenues for intrinsic study and practice of English language by our junior learners.
vii. Establish a strict admission policy and school entry behaviour for all students who wish to join our school.
viii. Establish strict disciplinary policies with the formulation of a fully empowered and supportive parents’ association – PA.
ix. Offer strong Muslim religious education and programs
x. Certification and compliance with external curriculum providers like AQA, Cambridge CAIE, or Pearson Edexcel who’ll also act as oir main “terminal” assessment examination providers.

ALA schools plan to establish a truly junior international primary school, with a central focus on high-quality education using both Pearson Edexcel and Cambridge International Curriculum (ECIC). ALA school’s customised training and differentiated instruction will form an integral part of the pedagogical practice.
