Pharo Schools Somaliland

HARGEISA, 26/05/2026 – The Somaliland Ministry of Education and Science, in partnership with the Pharo Foundation, celebrated the graduation of 1,027 early childhood education (ECE) students from public schools in Hargeisa (817) and Berbera (210). Marking 10 years of impactful collaboration since 2016, the event concluded with certificate presentations to the young graduates, highlighting a shared commitment to building a strong foundation for Somaliland's future generations.

An event filled with passion, tradition, and creativity as our talented students at Pharo Primary School Hargeisa proudly showcased the richness of Somali culture through poetry, folk dances, and cultural songs. Every moment reflected heritage, pride, and the beauty of preserving tradition for future generations.

Pharo Primary School Grade 6 students proudly represented their school at Amaano School, taking part in both a debate competition and a football match. It was a valuable opportunity to build confidence, teamwork, and healthy competition beyond the classroom.

On International Girls in ICT Day, the future of technology must be inclusive, and it starts in the classroom.

Not all classrooms have four walls. Our Grade 5 students explored a Greenhouse Farm in Arabsiyo, diving into the future of farming and seeing firsthand how innovation feeds communities. The adventure didn’t stop there, sports, smiles, and teamwork wrapped up a day full of discovery.
