HARGEISA, 26/05/2026 – The Somaliland Ministry of Education and Science, in partnership with the Pharo Foundation, celebrated the graduation of 1,027 early childhood education (ECE) students from public schools in Hargeisa (817) and Berbera (210). Marking 10 years of impactful collaboration since 2016, the event concluded with certificate presentations to the young graduates, highlighting a shared commitment to building a strong foundation for Somaliland's future generations.

Pharo Foundation, in partnership with the University of Hargeisa, celebrated the graduation of 23 Early Childhood Education teachers in Berbera after successfully completing a six-month ECE Certification Program covering six key ECE-related modules.
This milestone reflects our continued commitment to strengthening early childhood education and supporting teachers with the skills needed to shape young learners’ futures.
Not all classrooms have four walls. Our Grade 5 students explored a Greenhouse Farm in Arabsiyo, diving into the future of farming and seeing firsthand how innovation feeds communities. The adventure didn’t stop there, sports, smiles, and teamwork wrapped up a day full of discovery.
