YVE Somaliland in collaboration with Gollis University Erigavo particullarly faculty of Social science and Law, successfully conducted a one-day training on Girls’ Leadership, Confidence, and Community Participation Skills in Erigavo, Sanaag.
The training provided girls with practical knowledge and skills to strengthen their leadership abilities, self-confidence, communication, decision-making, and active participation in their communities.
Through interactive discussions, group activities, and practical exercises, participants explored how girls and young women can:
✅ Build confidence and leadership skills
✅ Communicate effectively and express their ideas
✅ Participate meaningfully in community decision-making
✅ Overcome barriers that limit girls’ participation
✅ Become positive role models and change agents in their communities
