My husband is married to my daughter.

I got married in a traditional ceremony to my husband, 20 years ago. I’m from Ughelli South and my husband is from Isoko North, both in Delta State.

We relocated from Delta State to Lagos State, immediately after we got married.

I came into my husband’s house with my five year daughter whose pregnancy her father denied. My husband took up the responsibility of raising her as his own and even gave her his surname.

Today, she is not only a certified Estate Surveyor, but very lucky to be in the employment of one of the leading firms, in Nigeria.

My husband and I, inspite of putting in our best efforts, have been unable to conceive since we got married.

About two years ago, my daughter got pregnant for an unknown man. Having walked that road before, I insisted on her keeping the baby and gave her my whole support.

She gave birth to a son, who in a strange way takes after my husband in looks. My husband and I were happy to be grandparents. We both dotted on the baby.

By now my daughter was already on her own. My husband bought her a very expensive car as a gift for making him proud as a father.

Since she bears my husband’s surname, I didn’t think it out of place when she gave his surname to my grandson since his father was unknown.

Few weeks ago, my daughter fell ill, and had to be admitted. My husband who always took it upon himself to be by her side in times, like this, was on official assignment outside the country. The responsibility of caring for her and my grandson became solely mine.

For the first time, I had access to my daughter’s bedroom, as she had made it clear to me that her room was off limit to me.

Since she and the baby needed change of clothes, I had to enter her room to get them.

That was when I discovered the biggest shock and betrayal of my life. Adorning her bedroom walls were pictures of her and my husband in intimate postures. Even the ones of their court wedding were pasted on the walls.

It was from these pictures I got to know my husband was the father of her son as well as the one on the way since the doctor confirmed her pregnant before I left the hospital to bring her change of clothes.

I’m so pained at this betrayal.

Should I abandon her at the hospital especially as she and my husband from the documents I saw in her room, have concluded all plans to travel out of the country?

Should I call my husband to tell him about my findings? Should I confront my daughter?

Back in 1994, Gabriel met Christina at a party and they really hit it off. They ended up getting married even though she was 30 years younger than him. They were happily married for 20 years.

However, Christina eventually decided that she wanted to get a divorce. But when she went to her lawyer, she was shocked to hear she was already divorced from Gabriel 20 years ago.

And this is because 4 months after their marriage, the couple went to Dominican Republic for a vacation and Gabriel divorced her there because that's the only country where one party can file for a divorce without informing the other party.

He said he did this because he knew one day Christina would divorce him and try to take his money.

THE MAN WHO NEVER GAVE UP ON HIS DREAMS. MR. BEAN (ROWAN ATKINSON)

Rowan Atkinson was born in a middle-class family and suffered terribly as a child because of his stuttering. He was also teased and bullied at school because of his looks. His bullies thought he looked like an alien. He was soon marked a strange and became a very shy, withdrawn kid who didnt have many friends, so he dived into science, one of his teachers said. There was nothing outstanding about him. I did not expect him to be a brilliant scientist, but he has proved everyone wrong. His teacher said Admitted to Oxford University, he started falling in love with acting but couldnt perform due to his speaking disorder. He got his masters degree in electrical engineering before appearing in any movie or TV show. After getting his degree, he decided to pursue his dream and become an actor so he enrolled in a comedy group but again, his stammering got in the way.

A lot of TV shows rejected him, and he felt devastated but despite the many rejections he never stopped believing in himself. He had a great passion for making people laugh and knew that he was very good at it. He started focusing more and more on his original comedy sketches and soon realized that he could speak fluently whenever he played some character. He found a way to overcome his stuttering and his also used there is an inspiration for his acting. While studying for his masters Rowan Atkinson co-created the strange, surreal, and now speaking character known as Mr. Bean.

He had success with other shows, Mr. Bean made him globally famous and despite all the obstacles, he faced because of his looks and his speaking disorder, he proved that even without a heroic body or a Hollywood face, you can become one of the most loved and respected actors in the world. The motivational success story of Rowan Atkinson is so inspiring because it teaches is that to be successful in life, the most important things are passion, hard work, dedication and never giving up, because without caring about our feelings and weaknesses."

Moral Of The Story:

No one is born perfect. Dont be afraid. People can accomplish amazing things every day in spite of their weaknesses and failures. So go and do the best you can with the one life youve got. Finally, when Opportunities don't happen, you create them.

"My wife has refused my mother coming to live with us ever since we got married & I don't want to hurt my wife, i love her much

Am age 44, Normally, I understand that we a newly married couple & we need space since our marriage is still very young actually 7 months gone but then, I'm the only child of my mom, lost my dad when i was just 3 & she single handedly raised me..

Mom really used to be active, I'll just go to the village to visit her but now, she is no longer as strong as she used to. I really feel she should be close to me so i can keep a close watch on her health & be in a better position to take proper care of her but, the issue now is my wife, she is 2 months pregnant for me & has totally refused that I bring my mom to live with us,

I really don't understand because her own mom visits us on weekly bases & I'm always good to her but, my own mom isn't allowed to come & stay with us. When I asked why, she'll say she wants to be given space to enjoy her marriage, I love my wife just so much and she loves me too, I'll practically do anything for her, she's a sweet woman & I really don't want her to feel hurt especially now that she's carrying my baby, I fear something might go wrong..

Pls i need some advice concerning this & what to do about this situation"

Breaking.

“I married my wife 25 years ago. She came to the marriage with two boys from her previous marriage.

I really loved them and adopted the kids as my own children, since I'm not medically fit to have a child of my own we stayed together as one family with nobody ever knowing they aren’t my biological children.

We stayed peacefully in rented houses. I was working back then and made sure to take my adopted kids to the best of schools, their biological father never ever came to claim them or even offered them any support, I took it upon myself to support them as their father.

The boys were very bright in school and as I write this, one is now a doctor who got a full scholarship to finish his studies in an ivy league university in USA. He is back and already employed.

The second boy is a pilot with whom I used all my life savings to pay for his course expensive piloting school in South Africa, he is also back and employed too.

My happiness is that my boys are successful, they have bought big houses, and are living their best lives.

My problem is that my wife and my two boys have reunited with their biological dad and now living happily together as a family.

They seem to have abandoned me here, i can't even pay my rent anymore, I retired long ago, i have been moving from one relative to another for a place to sleep, they don't even pick my phone calls anymore.

Please what do I do now? my life is so miserable”
