Omar Sise, the coach for the U-20, has been designated as assistant to the newly appointed national team coach Raol Savoy, official GFF source has confirmed to The Standard.
According to our source, Sise who was a recently appointed as U-20 coach will be attached to Savoy to steer Gambian football in a new direction marked by vision, commitment and positive results.
Prior to his return two months ago, Sise was coaching in the Bangladesh top league at Feni Football club. A former NPE FC player who went on to play professional in Slovenia among other places was also the technical director of Rush Africa, the world acclaimed US-based soccer academy with branches in Africa and elsewhere.
