Le laboratoire Unite de Recherche en Ingenierie Culturelle et Anthropologie (URICA) et The School for International Training (SIT, Dakar) organisent ce Samedi 13 juin 2020 a 16 heures une "Conference-Concert" pour rendre homage a George Flyod et a TOUTES LES VICTIMES DU RACISME et de la brutalite policiere dans le monde.
J'aurai l'honneur d'etre le moderateur de cette rencontre avec de grands artistes comme Gunman Xuman, Mounaya, Docta et Kruh Mandiouri Mauri, et des chercheurs/universitaires comme Dr Abdarahmane Ngaïde, Dr Oumar Dia et Dr Papa Malick BA de l'Universite Cheikh Anta Diop de Dakar, Dr Cheikh Thiam, The Dean of the School for International Training, Africa South of Sahara, Dr N'Guirane Cheikh et Dr Fola Gadet de l'Universite des Antilles, Dr Marame Gueye de l'East Caronila University. La séance se passera en partie sur ZOOM et dans les locaux de SIT, Dakar.

PS : le frere Fola Gadet est un enseignant/chercheur mais aussi et surtout un RAPPEUR qui sort bientot un nouvel album. Il nous a promis des freestyles.

As SIT Dakar, we stand in solidarity with our students and other U.S.-based brothers and sisters who are protesting police brutality and white supremacy in the U.S. in all of its forms. We pledge to revisit our own structures to push for a more decolonial engagement amongst our staff, our community, and our students.

Despite some serious setbacks, this year's program was still a great one. It was full of fun events and pleasant memories, and we hope that it will be remembered forever...
