ACI's Experience Senegal Program

de cross cultural learning. Our unique orientation to Senegalese culture and realities is the hallmark of the Baobab Center's Experience Senegal Program©. ACI works with 15 to 20 university partners each year to design and facilitate tailor-made study abroad programs. We create a rich environment for students by providing information, learning tools and experiences that allow them to develop their skills as lifelong cross-cultural learners. In addition, ACI organizes and facilitates family home stays, academic courses and thematic lectures, workshops, field trips, orientation tours, and a variety of cultural activities, and special events. Finally, in response to the growing demand for service learning activities and programs, the Baobab Center has prepared a list of short term volunteer opportunities in and around Dakar. The team has also drawn on its extensive network of contacts to develop longer community based internship programs across the country.
