🎭✨ Take a bow, Pirates and Mermaids! 🏴☠️🧜♀️
Our 2024–2025 Lower School Musical was a magical, laugh-filled adventure brought to life by our amazing students—and the incredible team behind the scenes.
💙 A big thank you to the teachers, parents, and Upper School students who gave their time, talent, and heart to help make Pirates vs Mermaids such a success. From choreography to costumes, lighting to logistics, this was a true community production.
🌟 At TASIS Portugal, we believe in creating experiences where students can grow, shine, and have fun doing it. This musical was exactly that—and so much more.

🦎 From storytime to lizard time!
Last week in PK1, learning about pets turned into an exciting real-life experience when students got to meet a bearded dragon up close!
They listened, asked questions, and discovered all kinds of fun facts—like what bearded dragons eat and how much they love soaking up warmth under a heat lamp. The reactions were priceless: wide eyes, big smiles, and total fascination.
At TASIS Portugal, even our youngest learners are invited to explore the world through curiosity, wonder, and hands-on discovery.

🎨 Little hands, big creativity! ✨
This week, our students in Kindergarten took part in a joyful art session led by , creating hand-painted tiles that reflect their creativity, focus, and individuality.
Art experiences like this encourage personal expression, build fine motor skills, and bring our youngest learners into the joy of making something meaningful one brushstroke at a time.

🎓 Student Leadership in Action ✨
Two Elementary School students recently served as Headmasters for the Day, stepping into Mr. Chicquen’s role as part of a special TASIS tradition and Auction Gala prize. From leading assemblies and presenting awards to issuing a school-wide proclamation and hosting a Headmaster’s lunch, our young leaders embraced the experience with confidence and care. It was a joyful reminder of the responsibility, voice, and potential our students can carry—even in the youngest years.
