*PLCCM FOOD FOR THOUGH - GOOD MORNING*
*THE MOTIVE OF THE SHEPHERD*
📖 “…not by compulsion but willingly…” (1 Peter 5:2)
Wrong Motives
1. Ministry driven by pressure
2.Ministry motivated by survival
3. Ministry sustained only by position or income
*Right Motive*
1. A willing heart
2. Love for God’s people
3. Obedience to God’s call
A pastor who serves unwillingly will eventually:
1. Control instead of guide
2. Exploit instead of care
3. Burn out instead of build
*REFLECTION QUESTIONS (FOR PASTORS)*
1. Why did I enter ministry?
2. Am I shepherding willingly or under pressure?
3. Do my people see Christ in my leadership?
