Community People along Yormandu, Tegbadu, Baudu, Kayima to Yaryah. Fensedu to Wordu, have started working on road maintenance.

The are calling on Sons, Daughters and other stakeholders to come on board to assist them with tools and financial supports in fixing our roads.

The following are the tools ad other supports needed:
1. Wheelbarrows
2. Shovels
3. Pick Axes
4. Head pans
5. Food during work
6. Fuel for transporting stones to the damaged locations along the road.

*FASULUKU MEMORIAL SECONDARY SCHOOL KAYIMA COMMENCES SSS1& 2 FOR COMMERCE AND ART PUPILS 2023-2024 ACADEMICYEAR*

To enhance access to senior secondary school education in Sandor Chiefdom, the leadership, parents and stakeholders of the Fasuluku Memorial Secondary School Kayima has held a strategic meeting and concluded that the school will continue the senior secondary education for Commence and Art that started in 2021 but was interrupted last year due to financial constraints.

Fasuluku Memorial Secondary School was opportuned to be one of the schools benefited in the ongoing Free Quality Education Schools Enhancement Project. The school like the UMC Primary School Yaryah is currently having a massive construction of six(6) additional class rooms by the government of Sierra Leone through the Free Quality Education programme.

As a Councillor and one of the volunteer teachers of the School, I call on all for a structured and unwavering effort to ensure Quality and Sustainable Education for our community.

It has been a burning 🔥 issue as most of our school going children from Sandor Chiefdom find it difficult to continue their education in Koidu City after completing junior school education in Sandor because of many inevitable factors like accommodation, food, guidance/parental care. These and many more reasons lead some school going children to become *dropped out.*

Fasuluku Memorial Secondary School Kayima will provide an alternate opportunity for the less privileged and parents who have no means of sending their children to schools in the urban area. Development is a process and with time and effort we can achieve more therefore, the management and staff of the school are calling on all efforts to develop our community.
