Paramount Chief Alhaji Alie Badara Sheriff III died on January 25, 2026. He led the Jong Chiefdom with discipline and service. He promoted education, health care, roads, and farming. As a Member of Parliament, he upheld ethics and fairness. He built bridges abroad and strengthened local unity.
