FROM TURIN TO THE WORLD

Happy Feast to the Josephites Fathers and Brothers and to the entire extended family of Murialdo!!!
The liturgical feast of San Leonardo Murialdo that we celebrate on May 18 is an opportune occasion to thank and bless God for the life and spiritual and apostolic charisma of our Founder San Leonardo Murialsdo and an opportunity to present the Murialdo Family the new paths that the Josephine Congregation prepares to travel in this millennium.
TURIN, SENIOR CITY.
Turin, located at the foot of the Alps, is an elegant and orderly city that dazzles for its palaces, its churches, its museums and for its tourist, historical and cultural attractions, and for being the cradle of numerous and renowned saints.
Leonardo Murialdo was born in this beautiful city on October 26, 1828. He is Turinian by birth and by heart, that's why he exclaimed exorbitantly: "I thank God for having been born in Turin, in the city of the Blessed Sacrament, of the Virgin of Consolation, of so many pious and holy men." How much I love you, my Turin! ".
LIGHTING NEW FIRES.
The Murialdo Family just celebrated the 150th anniversary of the founding of the Josefina Congregation. The slogan of the International Meeting was: "from Turin to the world on the way with young people," summarizes our charisma, our mission and our way of living with young people as friends, brothers and parents.
The commitment of the Murialdo Family World Meeting was: "We have a burning fire to keep, our life and our history, but we have to ignite and ignite new fires with other experiences, walking together paths of brotherhood and hope." Murialdo said: “Let us sow with full hands new works, according to the signs of the times and the needs of people, with fervent charity and hope.”
GENERAL CHAPTER IN MEXICO.
On this path of renewal and adaptation to the demands of new times, the Josefina Congregation, will have an international meeting called General Chapter, in Mexico City from May 27 to June 15, 2024 The theme for the Chapter is: “Hearing the cry of the youth and the land, encouraged by the Spirit, as brothers and sisters, we open new paths of hope.”
The Murialdo Family, is in prayer, and welcoming the words of Pope Francis: "remain open to the Spirit and to the new horizons of history," we are certain that God walks with us, so we say, What joy, God loves us! "
