As an aftermath of the request for a change of the convocation date,the administration has rescheduled date to the 13th April,2024!
The request was in consideration of the Ramadan.

*SUG ENGAGES THE ADMINISTRATION*
As a body that relies on using negotiations, engagements and dailogue as primary tools to solve crucial problems like the ongoing industrial action by the Academic Staff Association which has obstructed the progress of the First Semester Examinations, the Students' Union Government of Eastern Technical University has in the early hours of today engaged, negotiated and dailogued with the Administration of the aforementioned University to figure out a lasting resolution to the ongoing incidence. During the engagement, the union requested from the administration the prompt action that has been taken to salvage the strike action
*The Union also requested that because of the obstruction, all students should be allowed to write their examinations whether they have paid their fees or not, and it was accepted by the administration.*
The union alongside the administration had an engagement with the entire students during which it was assured that the industrial action will be settled soon.
Therefore, all class representatives are requested to contact their lecturers to know which of them are involved in the industrial strike and revert to their respective classes
