Honorable Abdul Rahman Swaray is the current Minister of Employment, Labour and Social Security.

He is a proud alumnus of our great school. He, together with other ministers, has been committed to fostering the Government’s agenda. Today, he remains one of the best ministers of labour that our beloved country has ever had.

Under his watch, our country now has a Wages and Compensation Commission established in 2023. This is the surest way to solve the problem of wages and compensation disparities in our country.

As a school, we want to thank him for his dedication to service and support the the school, KISSOSA parent body, and KISSOSA student body.

Even though teachers receive very low salaries, our principal who holds a distinguished master’s degree continues to serve our beloved school.

Good morning, all!
Save one sec to recognize that teacher who had a golden heart during our days at the school.
I: Mr. Dukullay, my math teacher.

Passing both the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) and West Africa Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) requires the total commitment of the candidates. But it does not stop there; it also requires the commitment of the teachers.

Our school is blessed with a pool of trained and qualified teachers that have proven their competence beyond doubt. Their role in helping the students pass their exams remains invaluable.

The Kenema Islamic Secondary School Old Students' Association - National Union of Students (KISSOSA-NUS) appreciates the efforts of the teachers of the school, and thanks them for their service to the school.

As a union, we would want to give back to that school that has made us what we are today. It is on this note that we invite every pupil of the school that is either in JSS 3 or SSS 4 to our free remedial classes.

The classes will last for one month.

Start date: 1st April 2023.
Days: Mondays - Saturdays
Venue: Islamic Secondary School Kenema Campus
