🎨✨ Meet – Geologist turned Fashion Designer

A proud graduate of BlueCrest College Sierra Leone, Francess shares her inspiring journey from geology to fashion, showing us that it’s never too late to follow your dreams. 💫

👗 “I used to play dress-up a lot as a kid,” she says. “By high school, I was already the family stylist. I always knew this was my path.” Her passion led her to study Fashion Design—and she hasn’t looked back since.

📚 Reflecting on her time at BlueCrest, Francess says:
“It was an amazing journey. Nothing beats the feeling of being in a space where you’re passionate. I had mentors who encouraged my creativity and believed in my leadership.”

🏆 During her studies, Francess was honored with the Most Disciplined Student award — a recognition of her dedication, balance, and drive to excel in all areas of her life.

💼 But her path wasn’t without challenges. “I was working as a geologist when I enrolled,” she shares. “Balancing travel, office work, and school was tough. But I had a boss who believed a geologist could also be a fashion designer!”

🚀 Now, Francess is building her own fashion line and proud of every step she’s taking. Her journey proves that passion + perseverance = progress.

💡 Her advice to aspiring creatives?
“It’s never too late. It’ll be hard, yes—but worth it. Put in the work, and one day you’ll look back with pride.”
