This week, we are highlighting a continuing success story from one of our partners in Sierra Leone, Anita Koroma, Founder of
Girl Child Network Sierra Leone

Girl Child Network is supported by a social enterprise Ecojc Pad that produces reusable sanitary pads that provide an affordable and environmentally friendly menstrual hygiene solution, while also creating income and employment opportunities for women and girls.

In this way, a social need becomes an opportunity for both impact and sustainability. This is exactly the kind of thinking we will explore in this month’s partner training webinar: BUILDING SUSTAINABLE SOCIAL IMPACT MODELS

Rather than applying a one size fits all approach, we are taking a customised approach that helps our partner NGOs examine what they already have and explore how their programmes, assets and capabilities can contribute to more sustainable models.

Let’s move from asking “Who will fund us next?” to asking “What sustainable value can we create?”
