πΈπ±πΊπΈ BREAKING: SIERRA LEONE SET TO MOVE FORWARD WITH LUNGI BRIDGE PROJECT
Sierra Leoneβs long-awaited Lungi Bridge project has taken another significant step forward, following confirmation of an agreement between the Government of Sierra Leone and Acrow Corporation, a U.S.-based company specialising in bridge engineering and infrastructure development.
U.S. Ambassador-designate to Sierra Leone Daniel Travis, speaking during his interview with the U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee, disclosed that an agreement has been reached for the construction of the much-anticipated Lungi Bridge.
The Ambassador-designate also highlighted the growing involvement of U.S. companies in Sierra Leone, noting that American businesses have invested approximately US$500 million in the country.
The proposed Lungi Bridge is expected to be a major infrastructure development, potentially transforming connectivity between Freetown and Lungi, improving transportation and creating new opportunities for trade, tourism and economic development.
