*STUDENTS' UNION GOVERNMENT NJALA UNIVERSITY, NJALA CAMPUS UPDATE 5th March 2022*
Alvin Toffler once asserted that, *"TOO MANY A CHANGE, IN SO SHORT A TIME"*
On the 15th December, 2021. HE MUSTAPHA G.M SAMAH took an oath of office to lead the general studentship in commitment, dedication, and selflessness, he appointed servant-Led stewards to help him in achieving his undying quest for a positive and better change in the life of students on campus.
Consequently, as per constitutional chore (Article 3, subsection 1-5), the SAMAH-LED GOVERNANCE has achieved a myriad of its constitutional and manifesto mandate.
Below are a few of the many;
-Fees reverted to normal amidst skyrocketed increments.
-Removal of late registration fees to allow students to register.
-Reactivation of the students' bus service on campus, to aid their to and fro movement around campus.
-Successfully advocated for the postponement of exams to enhance required preparation, especially for first-year students that have just been admitted.
-Students' ID Card process is ongoing.
-Free extra classes for the first year.
- Instituting Students' hour radio talk show.
-Distribution of toiletries to Students.
-Provision of Students' Union stationary at Freetown Location.
-Provision of course materials for students at Freetown Location.
-Participation in the ongoing Inter-University Sports(Football and Athletics).
Also, the SU Governance is aware of the *old age problems* still affecting us as students(Inadequate and frequent water supply, shortage in hostel facilities, shortage of classrooms for lectures, refund of SLG and excess fees, etc.)
Thus, the SU Government is regurgitating its interminable affirmation with result-oriented eagerness in making sure those various challenges are resolved.
LONG LIVE STUDENTS' UNIONISM.
LONG LIVE NJALA CAMPUS.
LONG LIVE NJALA UNIVERSITY.

The first-ever *Students' Hour* talk show at Njala University, Njala Campus is set to start.
*The Ministry of Information and Communication, Students' Union Government, is proud to present to you *Students' Hour*.
*Students' Hour* is designed by the Ministry of Information and Communication, Students' Union Government, Njala Campus, proudly powered by the Njala University Radio Station, to establish a mutual relationship between the general students' body and the university administration in ensuring that students have a platform where their voices can be heard and taken seriously.
As per the Truth and Reconciliation Report, one of the causes of the 11-year deadly civil war in Sierra Leone as result of people being restricted from their rights to access information and freedom of speech. As a concerned Students' Union Government, we thought it fit that the best way we could express the frustrations and distress by students is to create a level playground where we can vent our concerns calmly and amicably.
