Yesterday we were opportuned to host the Deputy Minister Youth Affairs, AMB. PATRICK MICHAELSON GIBRILLA. In which he shared his knowledge and specialty in one of our topic's -->YOUTH EMPLOYMENT SCHEME:INNOVATIONS AND IMPACTS

Youth employment schemes are initiatives designed to provide job opportunities, training, and career development for young people. These schemes can include internships, apprenticeships, vocational training, mentorship programs, and entrepreneurial support. The focus is on innovative approaches that address the unique challenges faced by young job seekers, such as lack of experience, skills mismatch, and limited access to professional networks. Effective youth employment schemes can significantly impact the economy by reducing unemployment rates, enhancing skill development, and fostering entrepreneurship among the youth.

Huge milestone achieved! Today, 4th July 2024, marks a significant day in the history of the Economics and Commerce Society (ECOMMSO) at Fourah Bay College!

Our students' welfare maximization executive, led by the dynamic duo of Amb. Idriss John Kaloko (President) and Alris D. Kamara (Vice President), have signed their name in the annals of the department's history books as the executive that has coordinated the most academic related activities!

We're thrilled to celebrate this achievement, which is a testament to the dedication, hard work, and commitment of our leaders and members.
