Day 2 of the Youth Anti-Corruption and Integrity Online Seminar featured an inspiring session with Paul Jonathan Koroma, Executive Director of the Patriotic Advocacy Network (PAN), speaking on “Youth-Led Advocacy & Online Ethics.” He reminded participants that young people possess tremendous power to shape narratives, inspire communities, and influence positive change when they lead with courage, responsibility, and a clear sense of purpose. Advocacy, he emphasized, is not merely about speaking up, it’s about doing so with strategy, impact, and unwavering integrity.

Mr. Koroma underscored the importance of strong ethical values in today’s digital world. He encouraged participants to use online platforms as tools for education, advocacy, and inspiration, while always upholding truth, respect, and credibility. He reminded them that the true strength of advocacy lies in the trust it earns, and trust can only be built and maintained through consistent ethical conduct.

Closing his session, he left a powerful call to action: “Never engage in any act that your future self will be ashamed of.” These words struck a chord with the audience, urging them to live with intention, make choices they can be proud of, and carry themselves in ways that honor both their present and their future.
