🤝 SIERRA LEONE UNITED ISLAMIC CALLERS AND DAQVAL CHARITY ORGANISATION STRENGTHEN PARTNERSHIP

A cross-section of the Sierra Leone United Islamic Callers (SLUIC) recently held a successful meeting with the Daqval Charity Organisation to discuss and extend their partnership.

During the meeting, Daqval Charity Organisation expressed interest in working closely with SLUIC to support their charitable initiatives, including engaging SLUIC members to deliver Jummah sermons and dedicating a special sermon to the importance of charity work and community service.

The two organisations also discussed several key areas of collaboration and the proposed partnership deal.

Following the discussions, SLUIC agreed to the proposal and expressed its commitment to working with Daqval Charity Organisation and providing the necessary support to help advance the partnership's objectives.

Further details will be shared once the partnership agreement is finalised, In Shaa Allah.

🤍 THE LAST RECORDING OF THE MUEZZIN OF THE GRAND MOSQUE

A deeply moving final recording of the muezzin of the Grand Mosque, Sheikh Ibrahim Al-Madani, may Allah have mercy on him, from his final day serving at the Grand Mosque in Makkah.

On Monday, 11 Rabi‘ al-Awwal 1448 AH, he called the Iqamah for the Fajr prayer—a final call that many will remember with deep emotion.

🤍 INNA LILLAHI WA INNA ILAYHI RAJI’UN

“To Allah we belong, and to Him we shall return.”

Today, we mourn the passing of Sheikh Ibrahim Al-Madani, who has returned to the mercy of Almighty Allah.

🤲 We ask Allah to envelop him in His vast mercy and forgiveness, admit him into the highest ranks of Jannatul Firdaus, and grant him the finest reward for his service to the Sacred House of Allah.

Our deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathies go out to his family, loved ones, and the wider Muslim Ummah.

May Allah grant him mercy, forgive his shortcomings, illuminate his grave, and make it a garden from the gardens of Paradise.

🕌 THE NEXT GENERATION OF DA'WAH 🌱📖

In a time when temptations are everywhere, distractions are endless, and so many young people are being pulled in different directions, seeing young people actively engaged in the field of Da'wah gives us so much hope for the future of this Deen.

We often hear that young people are the future of a country. But when we look throughout the history of Islam, we see that this Deen was, in many ways, carried forward by young people. Youth have always played a significant role in learning, serving, teaching, sacrificing, and spreading the message of Islam.

Today, we are blessed to see young brothers walking that same path. They are not claiming to be scholars, nor are they presenting themselves as Sheikhs. In conversations with some of them, they consistently refer to themselves as students.

They are learning.
They are struggling.
They are growing.
They are making mistakes and correcting themselves.

They are simply trying their very best to serve Allah with whatever knowledge and ability Allah has given them. And by Allah's help, their efforts are already making an impact. 🤲🏽

Sometimes, we are too quick to overlook young people because they have not yet reached the level of the great scholars. But remember:

🌱 Every scholar was once a student.
📖 Every teacher was once a learner.
🕌 Every great caller to Allah once took his first step.

So let us acknowledge these young people. Let us encourage them. Let us support them. Let us make Du'a for them.

Perhaps among these young students are future scholars whose knowledge will benefit generations. Perhaps among them are teachers who will raise thousands of young Muslims.

🤲🏽 May Allah increase them in beneficial knowledge, grant them deep understanding of the Deen, purify their intentions, strengthen them upon the truth, and protect them from the trials and temptations of this world.

May Allah raise among them great scholars, teachers, callers to His path, and servants of the Ummah who will represent this Deen with wisdom, knowledge, sincerity, and excellence.

DON’T TRY TO IMPRESS PEOPLE FOR ONE DAY AND SUFFER FOR YEARS

“Cut your coat according to your cloth.”

Many people spend all their savings on a wedding just to please society. After the celebration, they are left with little or nothing to begin their new life.

Remember: after the wedding come rent, food, bills, children, responsibilities, and family needs.

Don’t borrow heavily or go into unnecessary debt just to have a flashy wedding. A simple wedding filled with the barakah of Allah is better than an extravagant wedding followed by years of hardship.

People may eat your food, take pictures, congratulate you, and go home. But you and your spouse are the ones who will face the responsibilities of marriage together.

❤️ A WEDDING LASTS FOR A DAY, BUT MARRIAGE IS A LIFETIME OF RESPONSIBILITY.

May Allah grant every couple a marriage filled with love, mercy, barakah, understanding, and financial ease.
