*WORD OF ENCOURAGEMENT FROM THE SCHOOL PROPRIETOR*

When we experience loss, whether it be the loss of a person, a talent, or a possession, it can be natural to want to try and bring them back into our lives. However, it is often wiser to focus on strengthening and nurturing what remains.

Instead of dwelling on what we have lost, we can redirect our energy towards the people, talents, and things that are still present in our lives. By doing so, we can cultivate and enhance the relationships, skills, and possessions that we still have, ultimately leading to a more fulfilling and enriching life.

Focusing on what remains also allows us to appreciate and value the things and people that are still with us. It encourages us to invest in and develop these aspects of our lives, ultimately leading to personal growth and a deeper sense of gratitude.

In essence, rather than trying to bring back what is lost, it is wiser to focus on what remains and to strengthen and nurture those aspects of our lives. This approach can lead to a more positive and fulfilling life, and ultimately help us to move forward from our losses.

Our Man Crush Monday (MCM) is the incredible Mr. Slyvanus Davies!

Mr. Davies and his family have been instrumental in transforming KRVASS into the outstanding school it is today. Their contributions are nothing short of remarkable:

1. Architect of Safety: Mr. Davies financed the construction of the protective wall around our school, ensuring a secure environment for all.

2. Champion of Knowledge: He generously donated 60-70 percent of the books in our library, fueling the minds of our students with knowledge.

3. Water Guardian: Leading the project for sustainable pipe-borne water, Mr. Davies ensured that our school has a reliable water supply.

4. Education Patron: His unwavering support for students' education, both academically and personally, has been a lifeline for many.

5. Agriculture Ally: Mr. Davies has also extended his help to the agriculture department, enriching our resources and opportunities. To name but a few

We are thrilled to honor such an extraordinary hero. Mr. Davies is a cornerstone of our community, and we pray that God continues to bless and protect him and his family.

A MESSAGE FROM OUR SCHOOL PROPRIETRESS PASTOR MILLICENT SAWYERR

There is a famous saying that goes, "Your attitude determines your altitude." This statement highlights the significance of mindset in shaping one's future or life. In fact, studies have shown that people who have a positive mindset and an optimistic outlook on life tend to be happier and more successful than those with a negative or pessimistic mindset.

Here are some ways in which your mindset can determine your future or life:

Mindset shapes your beliefs: Your mindset influences your beliefs about yourself, others, and the world around you. If you have a fixed mindset that believes that talent and intelligence are fixed traits, you may limit your potential and not take risks or challenge yourself. On the other hand, if you have a growth mindset that believes in the power of hard work and persistence, you are more likely to push yourself and achieve your goals.

Mindset affects your emotions: The way you think about situations and events can affect how you feel about them. If you have a negative mindset that focuses on problems and obstacles, you may feel anxious, stressed, or overwhelmed. Conversely, if you have a positive mindset that focuses on solutions and opportunities, you are more likely to feel happy, motivated, and confident.

Mindset influences your behavior: Your mindset can influence the choices you make and the actions you take. If you have a fixed mindset that fears failure, you may avoid taking risks or trying new things. In contrast, if you have a growth mindset that embraces challenges, you are more likely to take action and pursue your goals.

Mindset impacts your relationships: Your mindset can also affect your relationships with others. If you have a negative mindset that focuses on faults and flaws, you may be critical of others and have difficulty building positive relationships. However, if you have a positive mindset that focuses on strengths and potential, you are more likely to build strong and supportive relationships.

In conclusion, your mindset plays a crucial role in determining your future or life. It shapes your beliefs, emotions, behavior, and relationships, all of which impact your personal and professional success. By cultivating a positive and growth-oriented mindset, you can unlock your full potential and create the life you want. Remember, your thoughts become your reality, so choose wisely

THE KELLYS SCHOOL BAND

Learning to play a new musical instrument in a school band program increases your cognitive ability. It makes you smarter. Additionally, it can also relieve stress and help with anxieties. Exploring music and learning an instrument takes time, commitment, and energy.

We are pleased to institute the school band program in our learning process and these are some of the benefits of being in a school band program:

● Being a part of a school band gives the student different opportunities for socialization and networking

● Build friendships (already having a common ground - β€œband” - it’s a bit easier to start a friendship)

● Playing an instrument can help with emotional regulation and stress levels

● Playing in a school band encourages teamwork and collaboration School band programs are fantastic.
Personally speaking, we would recommend the band to anyone interested in creative expression, creative inspiration, and really anyone else who likes music (which I believe is almost everyone).
Our music director is trained for the purpose and we hope this might create a positive impact in the lives of these kids.

A sport meets that provides inspiration, identity, and motivation.
Teamwork Makes The Dream Work, Intensity is not a perfume!

The DB Warrington school which was established in memorial of the Late Madam Warrington a strong pillar of the KRVASS had its sports meet which was graced by so many spectators including community stakeholders.

It is great to see young kids exhibiting their talents on the track and we hope someday, some of the kids will represent the country on international platforms.

We want to extend our appreciation to the sports committee for putting up a memorable sports meet and also to all those who had the opportunity to witness this sport meet
