The great news is that we were busy writing a lesson book to teach all Sierra Leoneans especially those in the diaspora, how to read and write Krio, the lingua franca of the country. We are confident that if you follow the lessons in the book diligently, at the you'll be able to read and write the language easily.

There's a dearth of nonfiction materials in Sierra Leone where the lingua franca, Krio, is spoken by at least ninety-five percent of the population of eight million people, most of whom cannot read or write the language. Non-fiction books written in English, which is the official language of Sierra Leone, will make it easier for translations to be done in Krio, thus enabling more students to study both languages at the same time.
