Students are taught a lot of English grammar and vocabulary over several years, but they have very few chances to practice all that they've learned. An English Week provides rare opportunities for students to speak English direct from a native speaker. Using games, fun activities, role-plays, drawing, and mime, students learn the value of speaking English well, and have loads of fun in the process. The students benefit not only from the expertise of the teacher, but also his diverse background, bringing his life experiences to the classroom. Our one-week course provides students age 10 and up with six lessons a day, Monday through Friday. Communicative lessons are paired with speaking activities, drawing, and games to help give students confidence in their spoken English. Students may learn to play baseball, plan their dream vacation across America, describe their last holiday, act out a scene from their favorite film, or plot their rescue from a desert island. We believe that the more fun they have, the more interested they'll be in learning English... and the more motivated they'll be when they sit in your class once English Week is well behind them.
