🌍♻️ What does a circular future actually look like? 💡

Last Wednesday in Trnava 🇸🇰, we spent the day exploring answers to that question together. From inspiring conversations about how education 📚 needs to evolve for a rapidly changing world 🚀, to real-life examples of communities 🤝 turning sustainability into action 🌱, the conference reminded us that the circular economy is about much more than recycling ♻️. It is about rethinking the way we learn, create, consume, and collaborate.

🎮 One of the highlights was discovering how gamification can transform complex sustainability challenges into engaging learning experiences, proving that serious topics do not always require serious methods. Throughout the day, experts, educators, community leaders, and participants exchanged ideas 💬, shared experiences ✨, and explored new ways to make sustainable living more accessible and meaningful for everyone.

As the discussions continued, one thing became clear: building a greener and more resilient future 🌍 requires innovative thinking 💡, active communities 🏘️, creative education 🎓, and people willing to imagine new possibilities 🌟.

A huge thank you 🙏 to everyone who joined us, contributed to the discussions, and helped make the conference such an inspiring experience. Together, we are proving that the future is not only possible, but circular. ♻️💚

📣WHAT A DAY IT WAS IN Mcc Celjski Mladinski Center
An inspiring CIRCLES multiplier event took place in Slovenia, bringing together 63 participants for a day of sustainability, creativity and community action.

During the event, we celebrated the results of the Erasmus+ project CIRCLES and officially opened the funky urban garden. 🍓The garden was created as part of the first winning Slovenian community project, Ana Vita and Nuška were present and shared the idea, development process and their learning path.

The second winning community project was presented by Zavod Don Bosko through their PUMO programme. Three participants introduced their work and 🧠 games which were made from recycled and reused materials, and visitors had the chance to try the games themselves.

The programme also included an interactive sustainability workshop based on the CIRCLES Handbook, a guest presentation from Jošt Derlink from Library of Things with examples of good practices for local communities, and a creative paiting workshop 🎨led by artist Neli Zlatoper. In her workshop, participants reused canvases, newspapers and discarded materials to create new paintings.

The day ended with 🎤a concert by Leyre, closing the event in a warm and energetic atmosphere.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped show how small local actions can create meaningful environmental and social impact. 🤩

Ever wondered if the eco button in a car actually does something? 🤔🌿
It's basically a built-in “efficiency mode.” - use less fuel or battery energy.

In everyday driving, that means smoother but slower responses. It’s great for city commutes and traffic, but not ideal when you need to be quick. 🏃💨

The upside is better fuel economy and lower emissions. Burning less fuel means fewer CO₂ and pollutant emissions, so when many drivers use Eco mode, it can contribute on a small but meaningful scale to reduced environmental impact and cleaner air. 🌳

Eco mode trades a bit of performance for efficiency, saving fuel, money, and a little bit of the planet along the way. 💖
