The most common way to spot Katka on campus is either seeing her single-handedly carrying a mountain of chairs or hiding her face behind a giant Calculus textbook. If she happens to be your advisor, you had better be ready for absolutely anything, whether it is bowling, fishing, or some serious, high-stakes kalčato tournaments.

As our Senior Admissions and Enrollment Officer, Katka is the ultimate heart of our welcoming committee. She is the friendly voice you hear on the phone and the mastermind who guides you through the entire admissions process by testing you, interviewing you, and finally enrolling you. We tried to film a professional day-in-the-life video with her, but she ended up casually sitting on top of office cabinets, hanging out with her desk koala, and scoring goals on the foosball table.

Katka genuinely has the ultimate open door policy (and apparently an open cabinet seating policy too), and she is always ready to welcome you with a giant smile in cozy office. If you want to see how the school ticks, get your hands on that Calculus book, or challenge her to a kalčeto match, your best bet is to apply.

Slam poetry je žáner, v ktorom sa človek musí odhaliť až na kosť. Nie sú tam žiadne kulisy ani masky – len autor, jeho vlastné myšlienky a publikum, ktoré rozhodne o všetkom.

Počas uplynulej soboty sa v Literárnom stane na festivale stalo niečo výnimočné. Naša alumni Naty Pčolová sa postavila pred nabitý stan a svojou silnou, autentickou recitáciou vlastnej tvorby si úplne podmanila divákov aj porotu. Domov si odniesla zaslúžené prvenstvo!

Naty, sme na teba nesmierne hrdí. Prajeme ti nekonečne veľa tvorivej energie, inšpirácie a ďalších úspešných slamov. Píš, tvor a meň svet svojimi slovami aj naďalej!

The most common phrase you will hear from Vojto is that whatever chair he is currently near is not his chair. He physically cannot sit still. Catching him on campus usually requires high-speed tracking skills because he is always running somewhere to make things happen.

As our partnerships and events manager Vojto is rarely found sitting in a desk chair. He is usually out running conferences, setting up roll-ups, or helping students bring their ideas to life. We actually tried tracking him down for this video but he accidentally tried to take over the front desk, wandered into the chemistry lab, and ended up daydreaming about a disco ball.

Vojto genuinely has the ultimate open door policy and he always tells everyone that they can come see him anytime with anything. If you want to test your tracking skills and catch him in person your best bet is to just join LEAF Academy. Applications are still open.

Four years of hard work, growth, and unforgettable memories, wrapped up in one final walk. 🎓

We love how this video captures the real feeling of graduation day. The mixed emotions, the relief, the pride, and that final, chaotic cap toss. It’s hard to believe this chapter is officially closed for the Class of 2026.

A huge thank you to our Principal, Jaromír Sedlár, our amazing teachers, and the families who supported these students every step of the way. You all made this journey possible.

Keď sa spoja otvorené školy, odvážni učitelia a zvedaví študenti, vznikajú veci, ktoré majú skutočný zmysel.
Radi by sme úprimne poďakovali všetkým partnerom, ktorí nám umožnili realizovať workshopy Nová generácia kreatívnych lídrov na podporu projektového učenia a kreativity v rámci projektu Európske hlavné mesto kultúry Trenčín 2026. Osobitná vďaka patrí organizácii DASATO, KIT-u, Strednej priemyselnej škole stavebnej Emila Belluša v Trenčíne, Obchodnej akadémii Milana Hodžu v Trenčíne a Strednej zdravotníckej škole v Považskej Bystrici.
Ďakujeme všetkým riaditeľom a pedagógom za dôveru, otvorenosť a ochotu venovať nám to najcennejšie – čas počas vyučovania a priestor vo svojich triedach. Bez vašej podpory by tento program nemohol vzniknúť.
Najväčšie poďakovanie však patrí samotným študentom. Neustále nás príjemne prekvapujú svojou kreativitou, odvahou premýšľať inak a citlivým pohľadom na svet okolo seba. Každé stretnutie s nimi je pre nás rovnako inšpirujúce a obohacujúce, ako dúfame, že bolo aj pre nich.
Veľmi si vážime aj podporu Majky Klačkovej a Nikoly Sedláčkovej z projektu Európske hlavné mesto kultúry Trenčín 2026, ktoré nám boli skvelými partnermi počas štvrtého workshopu v Trenčíne. Ďakujeme aj za ich osobnú účasť na študentskej prehliadke SE GATE SPOTLIGHT, ktorú pripravili študenti LEAF Academy v Bratislave.
Veríme, že toto je len začiatok zmysluplnej spolupráce. Tešíme sa na nové spoločné projekty a pokračovanie programu v ďalšom školskom roku.

4 years. Thousands of moments, projects, debates, laughter, and pushing past our own limits.✨

At this year’s Thesis Showcase, our 4th-year students did something truly beautiful, they looked back at their journey at LEAF Academy. It wasn’t just a presentation of their final graduation projects, it was a deep self-reflection on who they were when they first arrived and who they have become today.

One quote from the video said it best: “This experience just made me a lot more grateful for my time at the Leaf and the people I got to meet.” And we couldn’t agree more.

To our amazing graduates of 2026, we want to say a massive THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts.
Thank you for your courage to grow, your openness, and the way you connected our community to make the world around you a bit kinder. Witnessing your growth has been an absolute privilege.
