MEET TODAY’S TRAINER – FROM BAR TECHNIQUE TO FRONT OFFICE VISION 🌍🍸

Today we are pleased to introduce Darius, who currently teaches the Art of Bar Service to our new students at Agorà Italian Academy.

Darius is a serious, meticulous and dedicated young professional, always characterised by a gentle and confident smile. His discipline and attention to detail make him a valuable reference for students learning the fundamentals of hospitality service.

After his first season at ITI Marina Hotels & Resorts in Sardinia 🇮🇹, he will return this year with a new objective: to undertake his second professional season in Reception.

He has significantly improved his Italian language skills and is now ready to gain experience in a second department, aiming to develop a more comprehensive understanding of hotel management and operations.

This step reflects an important principle we promote at Agorà:
true hospitality professionals must understand the hotel as a system, not as a single department.

We are confident that, if he truly wants it, he will succeed.

In the meantime, do not miss his lessons on coffee preparation and bartender techniques — precision, presentation and professionalism start there. ☕🍹

MEET TODAY’S TRAINER – THE ART AND DISCIPLINE OF HOUSEKEEPING 🌍🛎️

Today we are proud to introduce Mastewal Gedamu Melese, our Housekeeping Trainer at Agorà Italian Academy.

She is the professional who will guide our new students in understanding how this essential department truly operates:

Operational procedures

Work equipment and materials

Office organisation

Room cleaning standards

Public area maintenance

Housekeeping is not simply about cleaning.
It is about responsibility, precision and care.

For those with a true sense of hospitality.
For those who welcome a guest as they would welcome a friend into their own home.

Last year, Mastewal worked at Riva Marina Resort in Puglia 🇮🇹, where her Executive Housekeeper became a valuable professional reference. She embraced the opportunity to learn, grow and refine her skills — and today she is here with us, passing that knowledge on to the next generation.

Next summer she will continue her professional journey in Sardinia with ITI Marina Hotels & Resorts 🏨, further strengthening her operational expertise.

MEET TODAY’S TRAINER – TALENT, PRECISION AND CULINARY LEADERSHIP IN PROGRESS 🌍👩‍🍳
Today we are proud to introduce Toluwani Victoria Omoyenila, our Assistant Cook Course Trainer at Agorà Italian Academy.

After her first professional season at the historic TH Resort Ostuni 🇮🇹, where she worked as an Assistant Cook, Toluwani stood out for her remarkable intelligence, precision and strong analytical mindset.
Her commitment and discipline allowed her to quickly grow and become a trainer in one of the most demanding programmes — the Assistant Cook Course — where she now teaches newly enrolled students at Agorà Italian Academy.

With a natural aptitude for mathematics and numerical analysis, she will soon be involved in Food Cost development through the use of Artificial Intelligence, further strengthening the connection between culinary operations and data-driven management. 📊🤖

Alongside her teaching role, Toluwani has recently joined our HR Office as Assistant Manager, contributing to internal organisation and talent development. We are truly proud to have her as an ambassador of our Academy.

Next summer she will continue her professional path in Sardinia as an Assistant Cook at ITI Marina Hotels & Resorts 🏨, taking another important step toward what promises to be a brilliant international hospitality career.

Today we are pleased to introduce Pacifique Akayezu, our HACCP Trainer at Agorà Italian Academy.

Pacifique is a young professional with a style, politeness and level of education that are rarely found.
A serious and dedicated student, he began his first work experience at TH Resort as a Restaurant Waiter, where he demonstrated reliability, discipline and strong interpersonal skills.

After completing his training path with Agorà Italian Academy, he is now our HACCP Instructor, teaching new students the principles of Food Safety and Hygiene.
He speaks Italian fluently and has demonstrated strong competence in food safety regulations and operational standards.

Next summer he will join FV Hotels – Itaca Nausicaa as a Team Leader, coordinating one of the largest staff groups — an important step that confirms his rapid professional growth. 🏨

MEET TODAY’S TRAINER – GROWTH, DEDICATION AND INTERNATIONAL REPRESENTATION 🌍🎓

Today we are proud to introduce Biruktawit Tilahun, one of the greatest success stories of Agorà Italian Academy.

Biruktawit began her journey as a student in our Advanced Training Programme in Hotel Management and Operations.
Polite, consistent and never over the top, she gradually distinguished herself through commitment, discipline and professional attitude.

Her first professional season was as a Restaurant Waitress at Meditour Village – Carovigno, Puglia 🇮🇹, where she demonstrated reliability and strong interpersonal skills in real hospitality environments.

Over time, she became an integral part of our internal structure:
• First as a Trainer for newly enrolled students
• Then as Head of the Didactic Programme
• And most recently, on 3 February, she brilliantly represented Agorà Italian Academy at the “International Dimension of VET – A Structured Consultation Webinar for VET Strategy Development”, contributing to discussions on the future of vocational education at European level 🇪🇺

Her journey now continues with a new prestigious chapter in Tuscany, at Borgo Pignano – Relais & Châteaux 5★, where she will further develop her international hospitality career 🏨✨

Per la nostra rubrica “Un trainer al giorno”, oggi vogliamo raccontare la storia di Victoria, trainer di Agorà Italian Academy.
Victoria ha iniziato il suo percorso proprio come i nostri studenti di oggi.
Ha studiato, si è formata, ha lavorato sul campo e, passo dopo passo, ha costruito la propria professionalità all’interno dell’Academy.
Oggi è tornata in aula non solo per insegnare, ma per essere un punto di riferimento, una guida concreta e una fonte di ispirazione per chi sta muovendo i primi passi nel mondo dell’hospitality.
